This story is about Edward Elric. When he was nine years old, his mother were killed by a folklore. Vampires. To protect his little brother Alphonse, he sacrifice himself. To his big surprise, Edward survives, but he has lost his humanity.

"A toast, for the big brother, Edward Elric's, return!" Havoc almost yelled, already a bit tipsy, "Kampaaaii!" everybody said, and raised their glasses.
Edward laughed awkwardly, scratched the back of his head. 'Looks like Havoc just wanted to drink some booze'. Then a waitress walked over to our booth, and gave us menu cards.
"Let's order a couple of different plates and share, so we can taste some different things" Brenda suggested. "Good Idea Brenda!" The hot colonel, with raven black hair said.
Edward had to admit, he was really attracted to the black eyed horse boy. Not that it would do him any good though, his feelings would probably never be mutual, and if they by some miracle were, they couldn't be together.
Not while he was a vampire at least. He would be afraid of hurting him, just like how he was afraid of hurting his little brother. That was one of the reasons, that he didn't visit Al so much.
After everybody had ordered their food, they started small talking again. About the weather, what Edward had been doing the last half a year. He told them that he had traveled around, got lost in the woods and so. When they asked what he had done to survive, he just said that he was an excellent hunter, and that the forrest had many kinds of animals to offer. He just let out the part that he had been drinking their blood, and eaten them.
3rd person pov
Havoc was already drunk waaayyy before their food came, and started hitting on Edward. But Ed was a bit dense at the moment, not noticing that Havoc tried to kiss him.
Since he failed, he instead said this: "Nee, Alphonse, you didn't tell us that your brother was such a hottie, no. Scratch that, you didn't tell us that he was such a ~beauty~"(♡♢♡). Edward's face turned bright red at the comment, while the rest of the group laughed.
Though, the rest of the group couldn't disagree with Havoc. Be it a supermodel or world famous actress, none of them had ever seen such a beautiful human being in their whole life. Or, that's what they thought, because Edward was a vampire.
And the beauty was one of the side effects of becoming a vampire, it was supposed to lure out the 'prey'. Not that they (vampires) really needed it, because besides being beautiful, they hundreds of times stronger and faster than humans.
Well, that is if they fed properly, on what they were supposed to feed on. Humans. Though, Edward wasn't your normal vampire, he was what he called a vegetarian. The day Edward became a vampire, he had sworn never to feed on or kill a human being.
Havoc continued to to flirt, and ask Edward different questions, and the group found out that he was only 18 years old. (Authors note: in this story, you're an adult when you turn 18.)
Roy's POV
The food was served, everyone happily dug in, except for Ed. Roy noticed this, and asked: "Edward, isn't the food to your liking?". Edward stiffened, and nervouslely look at all the food.
"Uhm... well, the rice doesn't look half bad" Ed said, and took the smallest portion of food Roy ever had seen. Roy furrowed his eyebrows, worried for the blond.
Edward didn't eat any more than the little portion of rice he had at the start of the evening. He said that he had to go to the washroom, and left the booth. Roy thought that this was suspicious, since he hadn't drunk anything.
He had just opened the door to the men's room, when he heard the sound of puking. As the grotesque sound stopped, he heard a familiar voice; "Urgh... gross." Something was defiantly wrong with the blonde big brother. Roy waited by the sink, and as Edward stepped out of the booth, wiping his mouth, Roy asked: "You okay Elric?"
As Ed heard his deep voice, he stiffened, and slowly looked up at the colonel with horror in his eyes. 'Why does he look so terrified? Maybe he's afraid of me? Nah, he probably didn't want anyone to found that he has bulimia (that I assume he has)'. "Y-yeah..." he looked away from Roy, which made the raven haired man frown. The blonde walked towards the sink, and washed his hands. They fell silent, and the only sound to be heard was the running water. " You know, your little brother only talks about reversing vampires to humans with alchemy, and you" This comment made the blonde blush, which made Mustang cracked a little smile, while thinking that Ed was absolutely adorable, "and then cats". Those last three words made both of the men burst out in laughter.
"You're not bad, colonel. I like you". Roy knew that it wasn't the same way that he liked the blonde, but it still made him slightly blush. "Wanna hang out tomorrow colonel?". "Sure! And please, you can call me Roy" "Okay, Roy, then you call me Edward", he blonde answered him, with a big grin on his face.
