Plane tickets cost a bloody fortune...
Especially if it's last minute, and international.
"Well, guess who's gonna have to apply to KFC again," Ashton sighs, his messy hair bouncing around as we walk.
"Like I said, you guys didn't have to come! I feel really bad..." I trail off, gripping the straps of my backpack.
"Don't worry about it, once we become big and famous we'll get our money back and pay for your ticket!" Michael cheers with his Happy-go-Lucky personality.
"Yeah, don't get ahead of yourself, mate," Calum chuckles, patting his friend on the back.
"International flight, 2-0-0-3B, To London, England, is now boarding passengers," a voice on the intercom announces.
"Here we go," Calum smiles at me, the five of us lining up to board the aeroplane.
Since we bought our tickets upon arrival, we had terrible boarding letters. The five of us are all listed as "F", which is the last possible letter... This means that we will probably be sitting with complete stranger for the 24 hour flight.
"If there are two open seats I call getting one so that I get to sit next to one of you," I tell them, knowing how awkward I can get around other people.
"I call the one next to you!" Luke quickly replies, the others groaning. Out of all of them, I've known Luke the longest since we were family friends from the start.
Both of our personalities are very similar, since we can get very quiet around new people. This allows us to connect well with each other since we understand what it's like.
"I'm probably gonna end up sitting next to some old guy who will drool on my shoulder," Ashton sighs, creating a pout with his lip.
We all return a laugh as I look down at my phone. I was really hoping Joe and I's conversation would last longer in Twitter but it didn't... Although he follows me now, I still worry that he'll get annoyed with me.
I mean, I may be a youtuber, and a small one at that, but I'm still his fan. That just creates a barrier between us... Since it will always be a fan-idol relationship.
"Excuse me "Thats so Raven" are you having a vision?" Calum mocks, waving his hand in front of my face, "it's time to board the plane!"
I let out a light laugh at his joke and follow the boys on to the less than average plane. We paid for this?
"It feels like a tube of tooth paste," Michael squeaks as we file in. I have to admit, that may be a weird äss analogy but it's accurate.
Only a sets of two seats line both sides of the isle as we walk down the squished isle. If I had claustrophobia, I'd be off of this plane faster than you could say "toothpaste."
"Heyyy!" I sing, "I see two empty seats!"
Luke cheers a little too loudly as many of the not-so-happy passengers glare at us. I quickly shush him, squeezing past Calum to get to Luke and I's seats. Well, at least they are somewhat comfortable.
"I bet twenty-four hours on this will be a great time," Luke smiles sarcastically as I sit down. I roll my eyes at him and slap his arm.
"Be positive!" I laugh, pulling out a blanket from my carry on.
"Hey, share that with me, mate," Luke says, pointing to it.
I let out a shallow sigh before handing it to him, resting my head in my hand as I try to drift off to sleep. Yeah, there is no way that's going to be possible.
"Luke, stay still," I mumble, resting my head on his shoulder, finding it to be way more comfortable.
"Y'know, this is going to be my first time ever visiting England," Luke whispers happily.
"You'll love it! There's so much to see, and the people there are nice..." I trail off, thinking about the events that were taking place while I was there.
"Something wrong?" He asks nervously.
"Well, you see, there was just a lot of stuff going on while I was there..."
After I explained everything Luke gently pushes my head off of his shoulder and looks at me. His eyes flaming with rage as I realize I probably shouldn't have told him this whilst the plane was taking off.
"You mean to tell me that this problem hasn't been solved yet?" He asks aggressively.
"Um, the police have kind of given up I guess... Or that's what Joe said anyway," I whisper. Luke can actually be pretty scary when he wants to be.
"Given up?" He gasps, "and how did you even come to meet Joe Sugg?"
"Now that's kind of a funny story but I'm just gonna go to sleep since you're not really in the mood for it..." I trail off, seeing him shake his head as he leans back and closes his eyes.
"At least this time we'll be there to protect you," he mumbles quietly before turning away from me.
Ever since we were young kids, Luke has always felt the need to take on the 'big brother' role since I never had any siblings. My mother was alway very supportive, and did a great job raising me on her own since my father works over seas.
However, sometimes Luke can be a little too protective. It gets really annoying.
I decide to turn to my bag, picking out my earbuds to listen to a mixtape Calum made for me. It features Green Day, Blink, and some other bands that I really enjoy. It was for my birthday last year...
Buzz
My eyes drift down to my phone which has tons of Instagram notifications popping up on it. I quickly open Instagram, seeing that some of my fans somehow found out about my little incident, posting about it. Great, drama is just what I need.
I appreciate their concern, I really do, but I was hoping to keep this under raps. Now I'm going to have to make a video about it...
And with that, I rest my head on Luke's shoulder and drift off to sleep. Hopefully to dream about me meeting Joe Sugg for the second time.
