Abby's pov :

I was out for a run to grab any supplies I was riding my horse Oscar. As I was cantering him down the road I catch a glimpse of something, I didn't know what it was, so I go to check it out. I slow Oscar down and grab my machete and I see a guy and a older man walking with him. I yell "HEY!! STOP RIGHT THERE!!" They turn around I say "who the hell are you?" and the older guy says " it's ok we aren't gonna harm you. I'm Rick and this my son Carl." Pointing to the guy that's around my age. I put my machete back into my pocket I made. I said "how many people have you killed?"rick says "too many too count" carl said "we did it to survive" I said " ok do u guys wanna hop on and I can get u guys back to my camp?"
They looked at each other and nod. I pull my hand out to help them up. When I grabbed Carl's hand I felt tingling down my spine and I say "HOLD ON OSCAR IS A FAST BOY!!!" Carl wraps his arms around me but I was fine with it. Then I remembered to introduce myself "oh and by the way my name is Abby"
We finally got back to my camp that is at an abandoned military base. We stop at the gate I say "DAD ITS ME!!!" The Gate opens and we trot in I say " hey dad this is Rick and Carl I saw them on the way back from my run." My dad can be very protective of me cause I'm his only kid left my little sister got eaten and I don't know what happens to rest of my family and friends so I'm still hoping. We get off of Oscar. I take him into his stall. I see my bestfriend emily she comes running over to me " Abby you bitch u didn't wake me up to come with you, I was worried sick " I say " sorry em, love ya " she says "mhm okay" in a sarcastic way. we go back down to the main hall where we all sleep, eat, and hangout so yeah "hey mom I found your favourite chocolate on the run" while lifting up a bag of my moms favourite chocolate. She smiles and thanks me. I went to talk with Carl "hey Carl do u wanna come with me to the roof, I wanna get to know you better. And I brought pudding" a smile crept up on his face when I said pudding he says "I'm in" we walk up to the roof and talked. I found out that he is 16 and he has a baby sister named Judith. I told him I'm 14 and I have a bestfriend name Emily. We talked about longer, then it hit me right the gut when he asked me the question "did u have any siblings?" I said "I used to have a little sister named Meaghan, an older brother named Xander and an older sister name Keira." He looked at me with sadness in his eyes. And hugged me, I hugged back and cried on his shoulder and said "everyone has lost someone they love." I cried even more. This is how I became bestfriends with Carl grimes.
