Our brains are sick, but that's okay

Life

It's so stupid
That we go through life
Waiting to live our lives when we are old
When adventure is gone
And you're no longer bold
It is better to live a short life
Full of excitement and fulfillment
Than to live a long life
Living horribly
And miserably
You only have one life
Do something that makes you feel alive
Because life doesn't wait
And life is a bitch
But the thing is
Life is a bitch to everyone
Which is the only way it's fair
But how you react to it is everything
Some will lock themselves away
Stuck in a haze
But others will take it and make something of the pain
An artist I like once said,
"Fight it
Take the pain
Ignite it"
Because if you aren't warring with the voices inside your head
The voices of others can do little to hurt you
So please
I'm so tired of seeing people working a job they don't enjoy
Counting down the days to something
And documenting an event just to show other people
So they can count down to their events
When we should enjoy life day by day
Live your life in the moment
Because one day you won't have the chance to seize the moment anymore.
