Good morn-

"Hey" my mom greets me as I walk into my house

With the biggest smile on my face "mom! Hi!" I hug her

"You're in a good mood" she smiles "I'm guessing the party went well?"

"Try amazing!"

"Well what's happened?"

"The party itself wasn't that great but as I was about to call you and ask you to come pick me up, Isaac came outside and I told him that I was leaving and he asked why and I lied but then I told the truth and you'll never guess what he said!"

"What'd he say?"

"He said that he threw the party for me! So we could hang out. I mean at first I didn't believe it but then he made me realize that I was the only person who got a written invite, everyone else got a text"

"Wow"

"Right! And you haven't even heard the best part"

"There's more?" She raises an eyebrow

With a big goofy smile on my face "we kissed!" I blurt out "well technically I kissed him, but it was so magical mom oh my god!"

"You guys kissed?"

"Hell yeah!" She shoots me the stare "sorry I mean yes we did! And I doubt anything will come out of it but I just had to, you know? He did this nice thing for me and I felt like I've been a jerk to him"

"Kaiden I hope you know what you're doing"

"I'm not doing anything god mom be happy for me! I summed up enough courage to kiss the guy I've liked forever! Aren't you proud of that?"

"Of course I am sweetie, but you've said so yourself you and him aren't a good match"

"I know, I'm not gonna act on it or anything it was just a one time thing"

"Yeah I think that's for the best, you don't know who he is. It's better this way"

"You're right mom. I'm gonna go to bed"

"Good night"

"Night." It's not like Isaac and I are gonna start dating, but she's making it seem like it was the worst idea in the world.

I sit on my bed on my laptop and it starts to ring "hey" I pick up Tyson's skype call

"Dude! You'll never believe what happened!"

"A girl gave you her number?"

"Yes! Wait how'd you know?"

"It's the only thing I wouldn't believe" I laugh

"Well when I was leaving she was waiting outside and I asked her if she needed a ride home, we talked and she was so amazing dude!"

"Do we know her?"

"No she's not from our school but she came because she knows Tessa"

"Wait tall Tessa with the scary brothers?" he nods "are you sure you want to mess with anyone who knows Tessa"

"I'll risk it"

"What's her name?"

"Her name's Marcy and she's so funny Kai!"

"That's good but do you want to hear about my night"

"I know about your night, you went home early and left me"

"Ask who took me home"

"Who took you home?"

"Isaac! And you'll never believe what happen!"
