"Tell me what happened?" Tyson stops the car

"Tall, brunette, and sexy Victoria happened" I try to not cry "I'm a joke right? Tell me I'm a joke"

"Kai you're not a joke. You know who Issac is and you still went out with him"

"I do not want to hear your I told you so"

"Fine you won't." He drives away taking me home.

Parked in my driveway we sit in the car "I'm gonna have to lie to her and tell her it went great"

"Or you could tell her the truth"

"Where has that ever gotten anybody?"

"Want me to come in with you?"

"No" I open the car door "thanks for coming to get me"

"Anytime dude" I shut the car door and Tyson waits till I walk into my house then pulls away.

"How was it?!" I'm instantly attacked by my mother before I even shut the door behind me

"Great!" I lie on impulse

"Where's Issac?" She looks around

"He went home. I'm going to my room" I walk away

"Okay."

...

"So your plan is to dodge Issac until he graduates?" It's Monday morning and Tyson and I are walking to class "you hear how that sounds right?"

"Crazy I know but what else can I do? I can't face Issac, I know I'm mad at him right now but if he just looks at me I'll forget everything and agree with whatever he says. I'm weak"

"You need help."

As we're walking I see Issac coming towards us "run! Run!" I push Tyson and we run the opposite way. Getting as far as possible we stop and I'm completely out of breath "that was close"

"Yeah there's no way in hell I'm going to be a part of this madness" Tyson walks away

"Where are you going?!" I yell after him as he leaves me standing there

"Away from you crazy!" He calls back still walking

"I have to do everything myself" I whisper turning around and walking right into someone "my-" I look up to see Issac "bad" oh no.

"Can I talk to you?" He asks

"Umm I actually have to get to class" I lie staring at my watch

"No you don't Kaiden"

Why me God? "Ok fine" without saying anything else he turns and walks away, am I suppose to follow him? Not knowing what to do I start to walk behind him. Leading me to this secret spot only Issac and a few other people know he stops walking and turns to me "wow I thought this place was a myth" I try to joke smiling but Issac's not amused "this is where you kill me right?" I get nervous

"Kaiden I've been trying to figure out what it is I could've possibly done for you to just leave like that on Friday, if you don't like me just tell me so I can stop trying" he frowns and I feel bad.

See! This is why Tyson should never leave me alone, I'm supposed to be mad at him and I'm looking at his sad face right now and all I want to do is kiss him. No! Stay strong Kaiden! "You're kidding right?" I wait for an answer but he just stares at me blankly "every single time I give you a change I just end up hurt"

"What?"

"Issac I like you so much a little too much, I wanted nothing more than to go out with you the first time you asked me but that same day I saw you making out with Victoria, before our date! Then I just kept telling myself that I can never be with you because you're you and I'm a loser sophomore. I tried to convince myself that I could be casual because I know you only date casually. That's how much I wanted to be with you, but anyone who knows me knows I'm far from casual, and what doesn't help is seeing you fond over Victoria, and Kyle and everyone other popular person here. That's why I left on Friday, I was in the bathroom having a panic attack because the guy I really like was out there making fun of me with his ex girlfriend whom he occasionally makes out with." That took a lot of breath but I'm so glad I finally got it all off my chest.

"Kaiden I'm so sorry"

I chuckle "you don't have to apologize for who you are, I'm the one who should apologize for wasting your time, I thought there's no way in hell I could pass up the opportunity to go out with the guy I really like, but you realize that none of it made sense right?"

I wait for him to answer but instead he pulls me in and kisses me. My shirt balled in his fist as his lips lay a surprise I did not see coming, his soft lips feel so good that I completely forget everything that happened before this moment. He pulls away from my lips and my eyes are still closed, slowly opening them I see him smiling "I like you a lot Kaiden and you're right about everything, but everything that's happened would have been for nothing if we don't at least try"

"I don't follow"

"We can take things slow, I'll stop flirting and messing with Victoria or anyone else under one condition"

"Okay..."

"You say yes to going out and actually stay the whole time" we smile

"As long as it's not with your friends, I want to spend time with you not them"

"Done." He smiles coming closer again "since I can't kiss anyone else you know what this means right?" He asks then lightly kisses me

"What?"

"I'm gonna have to kiss you more" I blush as he starts to kiss me again. Getting more comfortable I wrap my arms around his neck and our kiss gets deeper and deeper. Dropping my bag we continue to kiss until the bell goes off causing us to stop

"We should probably head to class" I say picking my bag up

"Yeah come on I'll walk you." We walk away and he grabs my hand holding it as we walk.
