Wow, I thought as I took my first steps out of the 24 hour Food Mart, its raining cats 'n dogs. Oh well it's a good thing that Nana told me to bring my umbrella, I wonder how she knew. I guess I will just have to ask her when I get back.
Hmmm, well let's see: the laundry needs to be done, it's already 11pm so everyone should have eaten already, I have to clean the bathrooms tonight, and I am going to wake up early tomorrow so that I can make breakf--
"Woah" I yell out in surprise as I trip over something in the middle of the sidewalk.
"Uugggghhhh", something moaned as my groceries landed on top of the black bundle.
"I am so sorry are you okay?" Mental list forgotten I quickly apologize grabbing the bundle to sit it up. Still in shock i gaze into the most beautiful face I have ever seen. Her natural silver-white hair makes her unique silver eyes appear to glow.
"Please don't send me back. Please." I barely catch the whispered words before she faints.
What should I do. I ponder my options as my phone begins to sing 'We all want the same things' by Kevin Michael feat. Akil Dasan. I know I'll just take her home, I decide while digging out my cell phone
"Hey Nana, can I bring someone home with me?" I politely asked.
"Sure. What time will you be here." She instantly replied. I smiled at the trusting tone in her voice.
"About 15 minutes," I announced.
