when i saw you on a sunday, i asked if you could hold my phone for a second because i was passing out food and you said yeah, sure and smiled, but i didn't return it.
i asked for it and i mumbled a thank you and you had this sad look on your face.
you were talking with one of the youth teachers and your face was red, your eyes glossy, and you would have his embarrassed smile and would nod. i brushed all that curiosity that was rising in my body off.
you leaned in to me and my breathing hitched.
your lips touched my ear and my insides exploded.
you whispered to me that you got arrested.
