Charleys POV
Duke was the first to wake from the rest of the group. Kyler let go of my hand and slid out of the blanket. He walked over too the fire to try and bring it too life again.
I curled up by myself under the blanket. I watched as Duke and Kyler began to boil some water. Spencer and Bridgett continued too sleep soundly. Mekhi was in the most awkward position by a tree. He had his leg flung over his arm and his other arm behind his head.
I continued too watch the boys. They pulled out some granola bars and beef jerky. Kyler reached in and pulled out a Twix bar and chucked it in my direction.
My face lit up at the sight of the treat.
"Thanks!" I exclaimed as i began to unwrap it.
"Yea no problem." He said as he re zipped the pack.
Kyler had taken the water off and was letting it cool off by the time Bridgett and Spencer had woken up.
Mekhi had continued too sleep and was now snoring.
I watched as Bridgett walked over too him.
"What are we gonna do with you...?"
I heard her whisper to herself.
She stabbed her foot into his side
"AWW-uhhh-uhhg." I heard him wimper. "What was that for?!"
"Get up!" She shreiked.
"Its too early!!" He shreiked back.
"Well get used too getting up at sunrise!"
"Ugghhh."
"Cmon Mekhi we need too see everything we grabbed from last night." Said Kyler.
"Finnnne," he groaned.
He slowly got up and staggered a bit before he started too walk.
All the boys grabbed bags and began too dump them out onto the forest floor.
Items such as Knifes, goldfish snack crackers, wash clothes, toilet paper, and more fell out.
First aid kits and a box of milk duds fell out of Mekhi's.
"Really Mekhi, milk duds?" Asked Kyler.
"Well yea! You got Charley Twix!"
"But thats diffrent!"
"How?!"
"I love Charley and want her too be happy." Said Kyler as he stuck his tounge out at him.
I felt myself blush as he turned too look at me.
After the boys had emptied everything i thought we had enough stuff too survive for a while. We all hung around camp for a bit and rested up.
