Charleys POV
A light breeze blew across my face. My eyes were still shut and i just listened to everything around me.
Breeze... that wasnt any breeze...
In and out... in and out...
It was breath...
Someone was breathing.
Not a someone... a something.
It sounded way to large to be human.
I didnt move. I layed as still as possible. Trying not to breath myself.
It was standing over me. Right over me. I didnt want too open my eyes too see what it was.
Closer and closer to my face.
Its nose touched my cheek.
A bear
I was almost positive it was a bear.
Its deep raspy breaths. I knew it was a bear.
I was terrified.
What did i do?
I layed there breathing feircely.
The bear stepped away from my face and i heard it lope around me.
I slowly lifted my eye lids. Kyler was laying next too me. A giant brown animal was standing right next too him. Its yellow sparkling eyes glowed in the still slightly dark morning.
I stoppee breathing. I just stared. At towerd over his sleeping body.
Kyler.. Dont..wake.. up..
I thought to myself.
The bear lumbered over too Spencer and stepped directly over her body. She made a mistake and jerked awake. I heard her whimper. And then scream.
"SPENCER  NO!" I shrieked.
A loud Rawr echoed out of the bears mouth and through all the trees.
Kyler jerked awake and sat up in a sweat. I didnt notice Duke wake up but he was now backing up in the crab walk position. Mekhi was still asleep on the other side of the camp sight. And he didnt look like he was waking up. The bear lifted its paw to Spencers chest and pressed down. It breathed on her face. Tears began to pour down her cheeks. Bridgett had woken up and was hyperventilating by a tree and didnt know what too do. The bear leaned in closer and closer. She began too kick the bear on the chest and angered it. It snagged the collar of her shirt with its teeth and began to drag her.
"HELP!" she blurted.
Kyler leaped forward too grab her hand.
She frantically began to punch the bear in its chest. Tears poured down n her cheeks.
Kyler jerked on her arm.
"Duke help please!!" Kyler screamed.
Duke began to fumble through the bags.
I was curled up on the ground. I didnt want too move. Duke found a pack of kitchen knifes. He tore open the packaging. He took the largest kmife and aporoached the bear. 
Spencer was thrashing around inside the bears mouth. Her shirt ripped down the front. She was screaming bloody murder. Duke aproached the side of of the ravid beast. The bear immediately let go of Spencer and snaped at Duke. He lunged backwards and struck the knife into the side of the bears head. It staggered a bit before it fell over on its side and lay limp on the ground. Duke picked uo Spencer and wrapped her in his arms. 
Blood was running down her neck and chest. Dirt was smeared across her face and the tears continued to flow. And all i could see was a giant fleshy gash.
