(A/n; as you hopefully figured out by now, I will only include the most important things from Valentina and Calum's day in every chapter. That meaning I won't do the morning-day-night schedule unless necessary. Hope you enjoy this chapter!)

Valentina's point of view.
I woke up very suddenly. The time wasn't earlier than 4:17 am. The house was completely silent, if you didn't count the small gusts of wind that made the pencils on my desk move slightly.
At least I thought that it was absolutely quiet. That was until I determined that I could hear the same moans I had heard on the first evening. I laid right next door to Calum, and it was almost inevitable to hear what happened on the other side of the wall to one another.
Why Calum was awake at the time being was something I really didn't not care to find the answer to, when all I wanted was to sleep.
I knocked feebly on the wall, in the hope that the noises would stop. After several attempts, I finally heard the sound of a computer that was slammed shut, perhaps in anger - perhaps of blunder - and I could at last try to sleep again.
07:00 am
The alarm clock resounded in the room, and I abruptly got up from my bed. Everything went black for a few seconds, before it began to dawn again. I was used to it - halfway fainting every single morning.
On the other side of the wall I could hear a stuffy yawn, and feet placing themselves hard on the wooden floor. I was almost sure I could hear him mutter something like, "who wakes up this early?" along the lines.
I went to the bathroom, which I of unfounded reasons shared with Calum. I couldn't exactly complain - hence to the fact that his family wanted to host me for an entire year - but it was nothing to brag about.
"Morning," a sleepy Calum muttered as he stumbled into our bathroom. His hair was literally everywhere, and his sweatpants were halfway down his boxers. I quickly said good morning back, without avoiding the "good" in "good morning".
"Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?" I asked, trying hard not to let out a giggle. He gave me an ugly glare.
"Maybe I would've woke up perfectly fine if it wasn't for your stupid alarm clock ringing this early. I could've slept for at least another hour," he said astringent. I wasn't aware that people, like Calum himself, actually woke up at the last minute before heading to school. I had only witnessed such actions in American teen movies.
I thought back to when I woke up earlier that night, and about what I heard. "It was your own fault that you didn't go to bed earlier," I returned astringent and took my clothes with me back into my room. I was totally fine being by myself in the morning.
08:25 am
The school teemed with people who hurried past me in hopes of reaching their first period. I hadn't been assigned any information about where I had to meet up, or what would happen that day.
I looked down at what I was wearing, and compared it with the other students dressed up with school uniforms. No one had told me anything about that either.
My eyes scanned the hallway, hoping to see a teacher or someone who could help me in one way or another. Suddenly I felt a hand grip on my shoulder.
"You seem pretty lost," a raspy boy's voice whispered close to my ear. I turned around and to my own little horror the boy was Calum. Not only did I not know what to do at school, but then Calum showed up, which made me even more stressed. He reeked of smoke. It was a fresh smell.
"I'll be fine, thanks," I replied, which was not entirely true.
"God," he squealed. He stared me directly in the eyes.
"What?" I asked, not sure why he exclaimed what he just did. He gave me half an empty gaze.
"Your accent," he mumbled. "What about it?" I asked, "it's so darn delicious," he whispered. He was suddenly dangerously close to my face.
I was just about to answer him, but was interrupted by the bell that rang right on time. Along with the bell ringing, heaps of teachers walked past me. Two of them stopped by me and Calum.
"Valentina Abaroa?" a woman with friendly eyes asked me. Calum looked at me with wide eyes - probably due to hearing my full name - and I wondered why he hadn't left me yet.
I nodded to the woman. Next to her there was a man, the principal, I assumed.
"Nadia Prolotojz, head principal," the woman said and reached out her hand. My assumptions were wrong about who the principal was. I shook hands with her firmly before looking over to the man standing next to her.
"Student counsellor, Thomas Cornelius Olsen," he said and shook my hand. They told me I was going to be guided through the school and that the student council president would guide me. At the same time, Mrs. Prolotojz gave me a schedule over my classes.
I didn't expect what came next. "That would be me," Calum said suddenly, after having been quiet for the last few minutes.
Of all the people at the school, Calum was the one who had to guide me. Someone had actually been so naive that they voted for him as the representative of their entire school. If it didn't turn out that he had appointed himself as president.
"I'm sure you're going to do an excellent job, Calum, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it here, Valentina," the principal said before her and Thomas went away.
"Guess it's just us now," Calum said and winked at me. I rolled my eyes, scoffed and asked him to show me around.
9:17 am
We were at the canteen, the last viewpoint, when I was very needy to get away from Calum.
"I'm going to go to class now, thank you for showing me around school," I said while I was already on my way to the classroom, where I supposedly would get lectured in English.
"See you at home, Abba," if that was an attempt at a good nickname, he miserably failed.

and Valentina is like "Calum is such a wanker I don't like him"
