Love At First Sight

~Chapter 2: Payton, Aiden, and Soccer~

I woke up the next day satisfied. I got out of bed and put on a Summer dress and added on wedges with tan straps. I then brushed my hair.

Payton, would definitely go head over heels for me in this outfit!

I looked at myself in the mirror then I made my way downstairs.

"Wow, you're looking so cute today!" My mom said as I walked into the kitchen.

"Yeah, I know," I smiled. She smiled back. I looked at the clock which read 7:05. I grabbed an apple and went out the door leading to the garage.

"Love you mom!" I yelled.

"Love you too honey!" She yelled back. I hopped into my Ferrari and backed out of the driveway. As I looked over my shoulder the electric gate opened and I backed out further until I reached the road. By that time I saw Riley get in her McLaren p1. She waved. I waved back. I drove down the street as usual and took 3 turns. Then when I entered school I parked in the shade provided by a tree. Riley parked next to me. We both got out of our cars.

"Wow, you're looking so cute today!" She squealed as she hugged me.

"Thanks!"

"Doing it for Payton?!" She whispered.

"Yeah," I whispered back. We started to laugh. I saw Payton walking behind us, I began to make sure to sway my hips. Riley laughed.

"Hey, you wanna talk?!" Someone said. I looked to my right and saw Aiden.

"No, go away," I said. I looked back and saw Payton frown in the sight of Aiden. I started to speed walk in to the building. I walked to my locker and placed my 3rd period books and gym clothes in it.

"Bye Riley!" I quickly said.

"Why in such a rush?! We've got 4 minutes till class and Biology is right there!" She said.

"I'll explain at lunch!!!" I went into biology class. I saw Aiden look around and Riley walking to her class.

"Hi Ms. Callaghan! Please have a seat," Mrs. David said.

"Ok," I walked to the back of the room and sat down. Once the whole class came in we had to take a pop quiz.

"Ok class when you're finished you may leave class and do whatever." She explained as she passed out papers. Yes. I'm really good at tests and quizzes! As soon as I got the quiz I blew through it. I finished it in 30 minutes.

     I turned it in and walked out of the door. Everyone just stared at me like I was crazy but I didn't care. I walked out of the door and into the hallway.

Now what?! I have an hour and a half left before World history.

I walked over to my locker and dropped off my 1 period binder off and grabbed my 3rd period binder, since I already have my 2nd. I just stood by my locker like an idiot. Then someone else from my biology class finished. She walked over to her locker which was locker #130. She unlocked it and piled the rest of her books in there. Then when she was done she walked towards me.

"Hi, I'm Malary. You can call me Mal. I'm sorry that I never got a chance to greet you in Biology. I feel like a complete jerk for not even saying hi on the first day you were here," Mal explained.

"How did you know I was new here?!" I asked.

"Oh sorry, I forgot to tell you. I'm Riley's friend. She was talking about you yesterday and she told me that you live across the street from her. I live two houses down and I left early from school yesterday so I never got a chance to talk to you and yeah." She said.
