She was faintly aware of a burning sensation in her wings. 'It feels like...! No!' She struggled to stop, but her efforts were fruitless. She was falling. She vaguely remembered the other angels explaining the feeling of falling. What they said is way worse than what she was experiencing at the moment. 'I haven't sinned! I know I haven't! Please don't let this be real!' She begs in her mind, coming in hit to the earth. Next thing she feels is the air being knocked from her lungs as she lands on her stomach, creating a huge crater below her. She groans, seeing a puddle of water. Her once white hair was now black, and her right eye red. Her lovely white robes where now gone, leaving her nude. She then looks at her wings. She regretted that choice instantly. Her left wing was a very dark shade of blue that it seemed black, while her right was still white. She let out a loud scream, before passing out.
The tall male had been walking along his eyes a dark black that lacked emotion as he held a large sack over his shoulder. What it was full of was unknown though as he came to a crater he tilted his head in confusion. There appeared to be a winged woman? Who was nude of all things. Something and he wasn't sure whar told him to pick her up and see to her health. So he picked her up and put her over his shoulder as he returned home. Putting her under blankets and checking for any Injuries.
A few hours later, the winged girl stirs, opening her eyes. She was in an unfamiliar place as she sensed someone also in the house. She attempts to sit up, wincing in pain as she hugged her legs. "Why did I fall...? I never committed any sins..." She whispered to herself, tears filling her eyes.
He'd sat in the living room though it was hardly a home it was more of a hut that seemed to have scientific advancements added to it. Though the sound of tinkering could be heard from the other room.
She did not understand what these things were but she followed the sound to a room. She recognised who these 'odd things' belonged to. "Gaster Sans. The two used to be father and son but an accident happened causing the two to become one. Father had saved them in hopes of finding a less risky way to separate the two without killing one or the other..." She says, her voice loud enough to be heard. "Prefers not to be called Gaster Sans but instead G or Sans." She finished, her wings folded closed on her back.
The streams of different lights stopped at his hands and a puff of smoke left his lips. "Do you always recite someone's history on first sighting?" came the deep voice as he had set the hammer aside pulling wires out of what appeared to be an odd machine in front of him.
"Smoking kills you faster, Sans." She ignores his question. "Thank you for helping me..." She trails off, looking at her wings.
"Well if I die faster it'll be nicer for everyone now won't it?" Came a dark chuckle. Though at her next words he paused. "It's fine. If I left you out there no doubt some monster would have picked you off." He put out the cigarette and spun the wrench on his finger as he tightened the gears.
She still hasn't told him who she was yet..."I doubt it. Father is keeping you two alive for a reason." She explains.
"Father? The hell are you babbling about?" A dark eye glanced in her direction.
"I'm an angel...or used to be..." A halo appears over her head, though like her wings, half of it was darkened.
"Oh you mean that father." His eyes went back to the machine and he'd shut the hood down own it. "So what'd you do to piss daddy off?" came the sarcastic remark. They might have been fused but it was evident on which ones said what.
"If you must know 'Sans', I didn't. I was hoping to request your help again. I wish to go back home." She had her own sassy remark, knowing which person said it. But she sighs. "Please? I just want to set things right."
"Don't know how to set things right if you don't know what you did." He stood and sighed. "We should help her anyway." He frowned. "Why? So we can wave her off with a tip of our nonexistent hat?" He'd rolled his eye. "Because if while we do it we can look for parts to repair the bike sound fair?" There was silence for a moment before he turned back to her. "You can tell me what you remember before falling but first you might want to cover yourself."
She nods slightly, closing her eyes and snapped her fingers, clothes appeared on her body. It was a spell she learned to at first repair robes but with Father's approval, she advanced it to create clothes for the homeless and poor. "I was delivering files of monsters to our head council person when there was a loud ring and then I started falling. That ring usually signals that either an angel became a guardian angel or someone sinned and fell. I've been an angel for decades and I never did anything wrong. So I want to figure out what happened." She explains.
He rubbed his skull "Well that's a bit odd..I guess the first place to look for answers would be where you fell." He picked up the sack that seemed empty now. "Come along then." He headed to the door and opened it.
She follows, curious in everything she saw.
He'd picked up a few gears along the way until stopping at the crater.
There was a note there, and the angel recognised the handwriting. She picks it up, before praying to God, thanking him silently. "I have a chance to redeem myself! Oh thank goodness!" She exclaims, hugging the letter to her chest.
"Well there you go. You have a chance to fix things." He shoved a hand in his pocket and the other kept the bag stable over his shoulder.
"But it takes at the most a year before he makes a decision...So I'm going to help you! As thanks for helping me!" She declares, smiling her perfect smile.
"Don't need any help thanks." He'd turned to move and cringed holding his side "Damnit." He shook his head some trying to keep himself steady.
She again ignores his statement and a light glows from her hand, placing it in his side he was holding. "Yes you do. Keep in mind I know what happened to you and how important it is to Father that you two are okay, thus means I want to help you." Her voice was conveying a sense of determination, obviously not showing any intention in not helping in someway.
"Woo you know our little secret and how fucked up we are. And that We're daddy's special mistake!" He stated with a small grunt as he stood straighter "We're fine."
"I'm helping whether you wish for me to or not! Now stop acting like you're worth anything because that's not what he has in store fore you got it?!" She had a bitter tone to her voice as she helps him carry his sack. "You've been lacking in sleep, thus causes random sharp pains in the sides, back, and head." She tells him, her eyes bright.
He remained quiet and had kept walking "I can carry it by myself you know." He stated his tone a bit irritated. "Insomnia is a bitch like that. I've had it for a long time I'm used to it." He replied coldly.
"Even they sleep whenever they have nightmares night after night. Those bad dreams are really just your fears. I had them before I died. You have a hard time opening up to people, even those close to you." She says, her wings extended and retracted, the sight itself was amazing. She had frowned at his coldness but that fuelled her determination to help him. He may not wish to admit it, but he wants someone to help him.
He frowned "Another little fact in your reports. " he muttered those little facts were beginning to irritate him greatly. And once they were back he dropped the back on the ground and sat down.
He was quite easily irritated. "Luna." She spoke after a few long minutes of agonising silence.
"What?" He glanced back to look at her once she spoke up.
"Luna," She repeats. "Name's Luna."
"Alright then. Luna." He picked up the wrench again and started examining the gears and comparing them.
Luna watches him, interested in what he was doing. Though she may know a good bit about him, what he was doing and messing with was completely foreign to her. "What are you doing...?" She asked with genuine curiosity.
"Trying to find the right parts that work for the motorcycle. " He replied tossing a gear aside and looking at another one.
"What is this motorcycle? We didn't have such thing in my time..." She says, tilting her head at him.
"It's a vehicle humans used them to get around. This one is a junker but with some repairs it'll be just fine." He replied.
'I see...' "There is much about this new generation I don't know about..." She mused, watching him more closely.
"It's pretty simple really once you manage to wrap your head around it all." He shrugged.
"I see...could you teach me?"
He patted the spot next to him. "Sit down and I'll try."
She sat next to him, curiosity bright in her eyes.
He held up the wrench "This a wrench. Use you this tighten and untighten bolts. " he showed her by untightening and then retightening one. "This is a gear. It helps the enging work correctly. So I'm trying to find a gear that matches this one." He held it up.
Luna thought for a moment, glancing at the other gears before picking one up. "Try this one." She suggests, unsure if she was properly understanding this.
He had compared the two "That's a match actually good job. " He'd swapped the gears and tightened it some. "Try finding one that looks like this." He handed it to her.
She nods, giving him a small smile. So ahe managed to get through the first wall. 'But that's fine for now.' She thought, accepting the new piece and looked at the others, finding the needed piece. "Like this?" She was having fun.
He gave a nod and replaced it and handed her another one. "Just a few more pieces and she'll just need gas."
"Gas? You don't have carriages?" Obviously she was confused. But she keeps finding the matching gears of the ones handed to her.
"Nope we got rid of carriages a long time ago. We have big machines called cars and such that operate on gas. "
"I sound old...this place changed so much..." She whispers, blushing slightly.
He chuckled a bit. "You'll get the hang of it and for being old you don't look it."
