A black cocktail dress, a side plait, a tint of red on her lips, a bit of coal under her eyes and she was done. She smiled at her reflection in the mirror, satisfied that her efforts had shown results. After a long time she looked beautiful. Moreover, she felt beautiful. She felt happy, after all, it was her day. Abhishek was going to propose her to marriage. He wanted and insisted for a formal proposal, just like those movies. She was lost in her own dreamland, where everything was picture perfect, only her and him.

Walking in donning the marvelous outfit, she left Abhishek gawking at her. After a good ten seconds of being unable to come up with coherent words, he finally held her hand and guided her through the posh looking restaurant. As soon as they sat, soft violin played in the background. The table was already laid along with a bottle of champagne-or 'bottled stars' as John Green likes to call it-and some strawberries to bring out its flavor.

She was in awe of the whole thing; it was such a dreamlike situation to experience. And that was when he asked her to dance with him. Having been caught staring, she blushed and nodded. He took her hand and kissed it, causing her to blush even more. He placed his hand on the small of her back and held her hand with the other as the swayed to the magical music surrounding them.

"You look amazing." He whispered in her ear. She laughed. She was sure she looked redder than a tomato. In the middle of the dance floor, he sat on his knees. She laughed. He removed a box from his pocket and opened it. It displayed a sparkling diamond ring. Her hands automatically reached to cup her cheeks.

"With all my love, I want to take our relationship to another level. Susanna, will you marry me?" He asked. She looked into his eyes. They were shining, truthful.

The moment she was about to say a yes some strange energy stopped her. There was something missing she thought. She should have said a yes immediately! But she did not say it. What was wrong with her? This was the moment she was waiting for!

She felt helpless. She felt terrible. Something was wrong. This is not what she was looking for. She was very confused.

"Why don't you answer me?" He asked.

"I want to answer you." She replied.

He got up. He held her by her arms. Tight.

She wanted to free herself. She wanted to run away.

Suddenly she saw someone standing at the door.

"Daddy, is that you?" She asked.

She couldn't see the person clearly. But she felt he was someone very close to her. She was attracted towards him.

She released herself from Abhishek and started walking in that unknown person's direction. As she walked, the figure got clearer. She could see the suit he was wearing. She could see his shoes. She could see him standing with his arms wide apart. He wanted to hug her. But she couldn't see his face. She walked faster.

"Susanna, where are you going?" Abhishek asked.

She turned back to see him. His face wore a tensed expression.

"Don't leave me." He pleaded.

Susanna gave him no response. She walked with a fast pace to reach that stranger. She couldn't see him yet but she could feel that he was a beautiful person. Somehow, she sensed the love for him.

Susanna's feet did not stop. She ambled madly in his direction.

As she reached near him, he smiled.

Susanna knew this smile. It was so familiar. She believed that she knew this person from years. There was an extraordinary energy that pulled her towards him.

When she reached close to him, she saw that he turned his back. Was he playing some sort of a game with her?

"Do I know you?" Susanna asked.

He chuckled.

"Turn to me." She yearned.

He twittered again.

Susanna put her hand on his shoulder. She turned him towards her. The moment he turned, she moved her hand on his tie. She wanted to see his face. It was yet not clear.

"I want to see you." Susanna had a cry in her eyes.

She could see his faded smile.

"You know me so well, don't you?" He questioned.

Susanna moved her face upwards to

look into his eyes.

She saw his eyes.

A little stonewashed.

And then.

She could see him.

Clear. Crystal clear.
