Nathan's POV
I sneak out of bed and look Menchie's angelic sleeping face. I smile and head downstairs. Max is passed out on the couch. I laugh and go in the kitchen. To my surprise, Louis is there, cooking. "Morning." "Morning." We stand there a bit awkwardly. "Uhm. Look. I'm sorry about last night." He laughs and says, "Oi! Don't worry about it! It's not like you never heard me and Torr-" "No. Don't even mention the things you used to do." Louis' face drops. "I want her back, Nathan." Shock pours over my face. He continues with a tinge of aggression in his voice. "She was mine. We were perfect together. Isn't there anything you can do to get us back together?" "Louis. You know I can't do that. She's happy with Tom. Happiest I've seen her." "Fine. Just remember, I treated her better. You don't know what he does when you're not looking." What does he mean? I'm about to ask, when a very groggy Max walks in. Louis smirks and looks at Max. "Breakfast?"
I grab Menchu's hand and give it a light squeeze. She looks up as she chews her pancake. Cutie. She laughs and asks, "what's wrong?" I shake my head. Just then, Tom and Torrie walk in. Rie sits by Louis and Tom by her. Everyone exchanges hellos and starts their own conversations. Menchu looks worried. "Nathan. What's wrong?" She whispers. "Nothing, babe!" I give her a reassuring smile and pull her closer.
Max goes out after breakfast while the rest of us stay and talk. Soon, jay arrives. He gives Torrie a worried look then asks if he can sit between her and Louis. "Why?" I ask. "Maybe I wanna sit by the guys amazing hair!" You can tell he's lying but I don't care to find out. I just sigh and enjoy Menchu's company.
