Tom's P.O.V.

I left the house a bit worried about my girlfriend. Who knows what Louis could when I'm nowhere to be seen. What made me felt a bit more secure was that, for some reason, Jay was keeping the twat away from my Torrie, and I apreciated that.

I entered my car and turned it on, as well as the radio and the cheery notes of Roar and Katy Perry's voice inunded my ears. I do like a lot of her songs, and this is a tune, but I won't admit it in front of people. I'm a serious, sexy, mannish boy, not supposed to like Katy Perry.

Minutes later, I arrived home. I left my jacket and keys on the new sofa, since the other one was no longer at the flat, and kicked my shoes off. I'll pick all of that later, now I have to sleep if I want to be able to stay up all night and not be dead tired in the morning, because I'm planning on spending it with my woderful, favourite hybrid. I entered my room and collapsed on top of my bed; with Torrie's pretty face, and her cute giggling on my mind, I drifted into sleep smiling.

----------------------

A weird tone started sounding. I looled at my bedside and it was my phone's alarm clock; it's 22:30 already? I'm still a bit tired, but I guess I just have to deal with it.

Slowly I sat up on my bed, and took the clothes that I chosed for going haunting tonight, including a piece of material for my face, so nobody or nothing could see who I am. Standing up, I put them on and took a quick look at myself in the mirror, I looked sleepy. Yawning, I left to the kitchen, and drank a glass of water. After rubbing my eyes, I made myself a cup of tea and a simple sandwich. I turned on my laptop, and sitted down on the dinner table with my mug and a plate, then searched for attacks from animals near here, so I could have hints where exactly I should go. I scrolled down, sipping on my tea and biting on my sandwich for a while, and suddenly I heard the door opening; I turned my gaze at it and saw my ex-curly haired friend and flatmate going to his bedroom in a rush -What happened to your hair mate?- I asked, returning my attention to the screen. -Max, that's what happened! He shaved half of it off, and now Torrie has to get it fixed- he said, while returning to the living room with some joggers on his arm -I'm staying at Nathan's- I heard him say -I have to protect her- and the font door slammed shut.

I hope hi didn't notice I wasn't really listening, but I know now where to haunt. Recently, there have been one extremely violent attack from three bears, that killed five people. It seems they ate them, but normal bears aren't this violent, and doesn't kill humans for eating. Hybrids. They may be new around here, but they won't be alive for long. To the forest near the Locnville camping, it is.

I took my stuff, and drived to the camping, but parked a few metres away. I put the clothe over my mouth and nose so all of my face you could see were my eyes, and got ready for the haunting.

------------------

Three hours of haunting; the first hour I spent it asking the people camping in here what did they saw and if they've noticed anythibg strange lately, something I had to take off my "mask" for, but put it on again as soon as I was done interrigaring. The next hour was basically spent looking around for hints, and the last hour I've been following one. The mark of a big paw on the floor, followed by broken sticks on it as well and more marks, until I saw it. Three big bears with sparking eyes, I'd say like human's, drinking water off a little lake, but one of those hybrids took my eye; the blue eyed one was weirdly familiar to me.

I took slow steps towards the silent scene, my eyes glued on that animal drinking pacefully. How could they look so innocent, but then be violent, heartless killers? And most important, why would they, having the ability to transform in the most beautiful creatures, the animals, use it for such a dark aim?

As I walked, one of my steps wasn't that quiet, and they heard me. Their heads snapped at me and I could sense a smirk under the brown fur of the familiar bear, as if he was happy he didn't have to look after his meal tonight, and they started walking towards me. I quickly formed two balls of fire and threw them against the other two bears, burning their sides badly, and threw two more when they ran away.

My eyes went back to the only hybrid left. Suddenly, it started standing up until his whole weight was resting on his back paws, and his height was a way taller than mine. I looked carefully at it, raising my head, at its face, at its blue eyes. Then in clicked me, and for once in my life, I was frozen. I didn't know how to react or what to do. There it was standing right in front of me the hybrid that turned up down my life, ready to attack and I couldn't move, with my mind blank. What do I do if my body doesn't react, if my legs don't respond and I can't move at all.

Then someone, a group of people from the camping came. They told me earlier they've got a patrol planned for each night to try and keep them safe, and here they are, saving me from my own state. They threw rocks against it and shoot a few bullets at the sky in warning, and the hybrid ran away. I'm safe, from now.
