Emma's POV

Sunday evening: I packed my clothes and got on the train to London. I was excited to see Dodie, but also a little nervous. I wondered what she thought about this whole situation? I didn't want to think about it, I just wanted to see my love.

I had my headphones in for the entire journey; I listened to paramore and placebo mostly. Music always helps me calm my nerves, but there was still a feeling of guilt buried at the bottom of my stomach.

I got off the train and made my way to Dodie's apartment. I rang the doorbell and shuffled my feet as I waited in the cold. The door swung open and I was greeted by a huge grin and a firm hug.

"Emma I missed you so much!" Dodie exclaimed after our short embrace. "I missed you too" I could feel tears welling up in my eyes and before I knew it I was crying on Dodie's shoulder. "It's ok, we're gonna be fine I promise." She whispered comfortingly. "Come on, let's get inside and have some hot chocolate!"

Dodie's flat is any girls dream. It's spacious, although still cosy and there are fairy lights everywhere. We sat on Dodie's bed, sipping away at our mugs of hot chocolate. "Are you ok about everything?" I asked after a few minutes of silence. "It's been bothering me a bit and I just wanted to know your thoughts on the situation." Dodie paused to think and then replied: "I won't lie, it does make things difficult. But you're worth it." She looked into my eyes and held my hand. I leaned in for a long, gentle kiss.

I rested my hand on her soft head as the kiss became more passionate. I lay down, bringing her with me. Dodie sat up for a second. "Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked. I nodded. "Let's do it" I giggled.
