I had been tailing Tori AKA Jinx for weeks. I had paid the principle of the school a good amount of money to allow me in his school, and to pretend to be a student there; even though I was 19. I had taken the "shy girl" role of the grade, and I didn't mind. I didn't want to be noticed, just camouflaged in the background that no one looked at.

All was going fine before my siblings decided they wanted to be part of the mission too. They didn't have to bribe the principle though, since they were already enrolled in the school. What irritated me was:that this was my mission. Gain this girls trust, then take her away from Xavior. But Wanda and Pietro apparently could do "better than me."

I think not.

Now that Mageto had taken Tori earlier than schedule, her trust was going to be harder to receive now. Pietro and her had gotten quite attached to each other, but the one thing that can ruin a relationship had been born in theirs. 

Lies.

He wasn't loyal to her and now her hatred would grow for him. Wanda had taken the bad girl/ best friend role. When your friend stabs you in the back, you can never look in their eyes the same. I was the only one Tori could gaze into eyes to without feeling anger deep in her soul.

Maybe it was for the best since it was my mission in the first place...but I guess no one knows.

Walking down the stairs I saw Tori still sitting in the chair, but with Pietro leaning against the wall. He was trying to figure out what to say. He turned his head towards me and I shook my head. I know I had told Magneto Pietro should talk to her, but I was wrong at the moment. She couldn't even bear to look at him.

He turned and ran, as I levitated a stool and put it in front of Tori. I sat down and interloped my fingers together.

"Why?" She whispered.

"You will be nonhuman. When the Phoenix chooses you, it will take over you and you will not be Jinx any longer. You will be powerful.."

"I don't want to be powerful!" She interrupted defensively.

"You wish you could get yourself out of the chair." I pointed out, "You need power to do that." She opened her mouth but closed it, I continued, "It's going to happen whether you want it to or not. For now I would listen to us, Xavior will be no help to you. He doesn't even know where we are Tori."

"He will find me." She whispered. "He always finds the lost."

I stood up, looking down at her, "Not always Tori. Not always."
