The Next Day

I'm lying down on the bottom step just starting Killian, while he swims around in circles in front of me. "Oh my gosh Killian you are making me dizzy." He chuckles and scoffs. "Emma this is serious; I'm worried about all this." I laugh. "I just can't believe the fact that I'm attracted to a fish." He stops and laughs. "You punk." I squint my eyes and he swims up to me and gives me a soft peck on the lips. "Well no one knows about this and we are both getting married in a month, you should be worried." Hearing him say that tore me to pieces. I sit up right and he comes and sits next to me. He hugs me and kisses my head. I close my eyes enjoying this moment between us. I sigh. "I think it's best if we just end this." He gives me a weird look. "Why you don't love me anymore?" I give him a soft smile. "No of course I love you Killian but we can't be together, unless I turn into a mermaid or you turn into a human." He sighs as he continues to hug me. "We will figure something out love I promise." I smile. I looked up and I could tell he was thinking of something to do. "I have an idea love." "You do, what is it?" He smiles. "You might not be a mermaid but I can turn into a human well I can try. I've been practicing my powers and I think I'm ready for something as powerful as that." I gave him a concerned look. "Are you sure love? I don't want you to get hurt." He nods. "I just need to touch you when I'm transforming." I nod. He grabs my hand and he closes his eyes and starts to wave his hand over his legs. I see something shine and then I see something that makes me scream. "Killian what happened?" He opened his eyes and looked at me in a confused way. "Oh my gosh." He said as he started to laugh. I look at my legs and they were gone, I had a tail, a red tail to be exact. I continued to touch it and I look at my top and I had a black sea shell top just barely covering my breasts. I covered myself. "Killian what happened, I'm a Mer..m..a.." "A mermaid." He said as he finished my sentence. "I guess I redirected my power towards you." I was in utter shock. "Love I think you're more powerful than me because you took my power." My eyes shot open. "What?" "Let me try again." I nod. He grabs my hand and tries again. Nothing. What did he mean that I was more powerful than him? I shake my head and started to worry about the main problem, and that problem was that my legs had turned into a tail.  "So I'm stuck a mermaid?" He nods. "Well you want to explore the ocean for a bit while you have a tail love?" I gave him a weird look. "So this is payback for saying that I'm attracted to a fish huh?" He smiles at me. "Well I'm attracted to one too and I'm madly in love with her." I couldn't help but smile. He leaned in and kissed me. "I love you Emma." He said as he whispered in between breathes. "I love you too Killian." After a couple of seconds kissing we let go. He jumps into the ocean and I jump in as well. We are floating there and he smiles. "Ok love when we go underwater all you have to do is breathe like you would normally do up here." I nod. We dove under and I started to breathe under water. I was in shock. "Ready love?" I nodded. He grabbed my hand and off we swam. I was struggling because I was used to kicking my legs to swim but with a tail it's a whole different ordeal. Killian kept smiling at me when I would start to float because I couldn't swim. He held my hand. "I'll help you out love." I smiled. We started to swim among the fish and dolphins. After a while I got the hang of it and swam on my own. I was enjoying myself so much that I totally forgot that I had a tail. We went down to the ocean floor and Killian grabs a necklace he had on his neck and adds two sea shells on it. I smiled. "Here love." He says as he puts the necklace on my neck. I touch it and smile. "It's beautiful love." He hugs me and we continue to swim. We caught up with more dolphins and I started to pet one of the dolphins and Killian is smiling at me. "What?" I say as I lift my eyebrow. He leans in and kisses me. He's caressing my cheek as he was kissing me. Boy was I loving it. "What the hell is this?" We let go and we turn around and I see this mermaid there. Killian pushes me behind him. "Who the hell is she and why are you kissing her?" I'm super scared. "Killian who is she?" I whisper to him. He sighs. "Belle." I gasp. "We are to get married in a month and I find you with this tramp of a mermaid." "Hey I am not..." Killian interrupts me. "Leave her out of this Belle." She waves her hand and in a matter of second a bunch of mermen arrive. I start to panic. Killian turns around and whispers something to me. "Whatever you do don't tell them you're a human ok?" I nod. "I'm scared." He caresses my cheek. "Don't be love." I smile and I wanted to cry but of course I'm underwater so I can't cry. "Take her to the dungeon." "Please Belle don't do this." She scoffs. "It's ok love, I'll be fine." I say and give him a reassuring smile. They take me away and I see the distraught look on Killian's face. I am terrified, I don't know the sea, I'm not even a mermaid and I'm being sent to their world when I didn't even know they existed. After a couple of minutes swimming we get to their palace and I'm sent to the dungeon. They push me in there and lock the door. I swim up to the bars and tried to move them. One of the guard's swims back and laughs in a mocking tone. "Try all you want dear but you will never escape." I sigh. He's right, I can't escape. If I turn back into a human in here I will for sure drown. I started to panic. I tried to look for any crack or opening in the cell but there was nothing. There was no use to continue on searching. My hopes of escaping died. I sit on the floor and I started to play with the plants that were there. I sighed and thought to myself that this was it. This is going to be it for Emma. I touch my necklace and I smiled. I waved my hand and a spark came out and it destroyed one of the plants. I stared at my hand and was just in utter shock.

Killian's POV
Seeing the guards take Emma away broke my heart and then her smiling at me killed me. "How could you do this to me?" I looked at Belle and sighed. "I'm sorry Belle." She swims over to me. "Do you love her?" I stayed quiet. "Answer me Killian, do you love her?!" Belle screams. "I think what you saw earlier answers that question." She scoffs. "I need to hear it from your mouth." "Yes, I'm sorry but I do love her." She starts to cry. "How long?" I gave her a confused look. "How long what?" She scoffed. "How long has this been going on?" "Since the day I arrived to the palace." She looks away. I honestly felt bad for telling her this but I had too. "So you never loved me?" I shake my head. "I'm sorry Belle but no, I have never loved you." She nods. She starts to swim away and I follow her.
