2 days later Sunday 9pm
I opened my eyes I was in a hospital bed wondering why I was here until it all came flooding back to me. Connor. Did he hurt anyone else? Was Sarah ok? Where was my mum? All those question were running through my head all the wires connected to my body. I could hardly move.
A nurse came in my room and said " Joe are you ok? Your mum has just gone to get coffee she will be back in a minute. I replied I'm ok just in a bit of pain as I tried to get up. The nurse said " be careful you've only just awoke from the accident. "Please can I have the phone I really need to call someone" I replied. Yeah sure but before I could call Sarah my mum came rushing in putting her arms around me tears were rolling down her face she said " I thought I was going to loose you don't ever scare me like that again I love you son". "You know me mum I'm a fighter and one in a minute and gave her a cheeky smile as she stroked my hair.
A girl called Sarah came to see she had to go home though think she'll come tomorrow morning mum said. I smiled she came to see me I thought in my head she's ok I thought to myself. Mum told me to get some sleep after taking my painkillers.
