"Here?" We were all looking up at a tall, old looking building. It didn't look sanitary or stable but Tyrone said it would have to do.
"Yes, here." Tyrone said with a sigh, walking closer to the place. "We have to stay somewhere right?" I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
"But what if something happens? What if the monster demon things will come after us here?" He ignored my questions and so did the other two because they walked off.
Couldn't Ella protect us or something, I mean after all what other way to prove that you are what you say you are than to protect us from danger?
As I was stuck in my train of thought I didn't notice that I was alone in the middle of a road.
It was like the whole atmosphere changed.
I was no longer by a dirt terrain with one road or a place where it was chilly and you longed for warmth.
Where I was at was much hotter than anywhere I've ever been.
I wasn't very focused on the temperature, if I was being honest, what I was most focused on was what was in front of me.
It was a small red shop that had tall windows that reached from the tall of the building to the short, and one glass door. The roof was brown and on top of it lay a chimney that was spewing clouds of gray.
It had a big sign in front of it that said, SWEET SHOP.
I walked closer to the red shop, looking into the windows because they were too bright making it hard to see inside unless you look through it completely. I took a steady breath at what I was preparing to see.
What I found was unexpected. It was actually a sweet shop. And to think, I was expecting blood everywhere, despite the amount of white in there.
I opened the door all I saw was white. White shelves, nothing on them, white tables, even the doors where white.
I stepped in the place and was blinded. I covered my eyes, as all I saw was the obvious color. I heard laughter in the back of the shop and I instantly thought about leaving.
It was already blinding me.
I turned around when I heard a loud shut. I pulled on the door handle, regretting it because of my eyes and my hands flew back up to my eyes.
It suddenly got three times hotter and I was seeing something red. I opened my eyes and saw that all of the white had been a scam.
The white turned red and the laughter got louder by the second. I stumbled back, hitting the door nob with my back. I flinched at the pain but shook it off.
The laughter was now ringing in my ears and I covered them even tighter. I felt a warm liquid but chose to ignore it. I closed my eyes because it seemed everything had turned white again.
The laughter stopped abruptly and I uncovered my ears. The light was still in my eyes but I walked forward, placing my hands out for caution.
I felt a table and pushed aside it, walking to where I saw a door. I opened it and saw red again. I smelled a scent that made my nose feel rotten.
I walked forward to a wall. The room wasn't just red like it was in the other room, brown and red ooze that dripped from the walls. I noticed that the same thing was on my hands and I rubbed my fingers together.
Blood.
I lurched forward and saw there was a change of scenery. It was cave like ahead and I wanted to turn around but when I did, all I saw was a reflection of what was in front of me.
