"I'm Ella." She gave a wide smile at Jamie. I saw his lips twitch and he looked at her like she was one of a kind. It hit a nerve. "I have a broken ankle and Tyrone here patched me up. I'm fine now."

Jamie nodded to her and looked at me. All emotion exploited from his face. "I'm going to talk to Tyrone and when I get back, he'll patch you up."

"What about you?" He gave a slight chuckle. "Don't worry about me." My jaw clenched when he walked away.

I turned to Ella and saw her staring at me. "What's your name?" She asked innocently. I rolled my eyes and grinned. "Who needs to know?"

"I do? Sorry, I'm just new to the whole demon thing. No one has told me anything about it and I'm scared." I actually felt a little sorry for her. Even though there was this feeling in my chest that she was bad news, I just wanted to hug the pain away, but I know that it doesn't work that way.

"What happened to your leg?" I shrugged. "Nothing much. I just got bit, no buff." She nodded. "By what exactly?" She looked at the bite mark on my leg disgustingly.

I rolled down my pant leg. "A huge bug, that's all." When I raised up, a sharp pain went through my lower body, starting from my back.

A reminder is never to bend down again until that bite on my back is all right.

She looked at me confusingly and I took her off the subject. "So what did you hurt your ankle on?" I asked suspiciously.

I wasn't trusting this girl for a second. She chuckled highly and looked at the floor. "When I tried to kill people," She looked at me and her eyes turned black. "They snapped my ankle." She gave me a devilish grin and I blinked quickly.

Her eyes were the same brown from before and she only had a smile on her face. I rubbed my eyes and looked over. Tyrone looked at me with confusion and Jamie was busy fawning over Ella.

They both came over to us. "What's wrong, Kylie?" Tyrone asked, worried. I shook my head. "Nothing."

"Well, since you obviously know about the demons and we can't leave a girl alone, so we would like you to come with us." Her face brightened and she looked over to Jamie. "I would love to! It would be better than slaving away here and then finally getting killed by them." It was like she never once thought of what she was going to say next.

"Well, let me go patch up Kylie, Jamie you stay here." He bended down and let me on his back. He carried me to this place that was like a mini hospital but only had one floor.

He grabbed some stuff off of the counters and sat them down. He sat me down as well on a bench and brought everything to me.

First he rubbed around the area and looked closely at what it was. "Yours isn't molded like Jamie's. I wonder why. " He mumbled to himself and I wondered too.

He continued with doing stuff to my leg and it was all peaceful until I sprung up in pain. "Calm down, it's just a little alcohol."

He dabbed some more on me and it made me flinch every time. "It burns!" I yelled. He looked up at me and something was present in his eyes. "I'm sorry but you're going to have to be still." A few more minutes of the dabbing and I felt some cooling cream go on it and I relaxed.

He bandaged it up and I looked at my leg. "Where did you learn to do this stuff?" He chuckled deeply. "Before my parents got killed, they taught me in the medical field so when anything went wrong, I could be prepared. Jamie knows this stuff too, just not as good." He helped me down. "Any more bites, scratches."

We went through the whole screaming thing again when he put alcohol on my lower back. "I hate this part." He shrugged.

After he was finished patching me up, he carried me back to Jamie and Ella who were sitting very close to each other on the floor.
