"There is no one side,
There is no just good,
There is happiness and sadness,
You're going to get both."
I pulled apart his words,
Attempted to understand,
But there were just some things,
I couldn't comprehend.
Why would there be two sides?
Why can't we just have one?
Why is there darkness to every light?
Why can't we just have fun?

He said an important statement.
"Don't expect life to be an easy ticket,
There are going to be ups and downs.
Every little event that happens to you,
There are going to be not just smiles, but frowns."
