Chapter 1

Marinette woke up early for once and got to school before Alya. Today she was going to tell Adrien shes liked him for three years and Alya was going to help her confess in person. Every year she would confess with gifts, cards, letters and food from the bakery only to forget to write her name every time. She brought an umbrella, the same umbrella she kept all those years. She had to do it now or never.

She heard a rumor that he was going to a college in America while she was going to a local one where she would work on becoming a designer. Marinette waited at the front of the school for her best friend not knowing she was already there with Nino watching her. A silver car pulled up and Adrien stepped out and smiled at the shy girl. He still loved Ladybug but his heart was shared with the girl. She held one half while Ladybug held the other. Little did he know she held it all.

"Good morning Marinette." He smiled as he walked up to the girl.

"Morning!" She blurted out and turned rose red. "I I mean good morning Aadrien." She stuttered out as they walked into the school. Her hair stopped at her upper back and she always kept it down or held it together in a braid or ponytail. She hyped herself up all morning to tell him and all of her courage was drained when she started stuttering. They're seats were moved so now Marinette and Alya sat across from Nino and Adrien in the middle row. They walked in and Marinette sat at her seat and buried her head into her arms. Alya saw her distress and walked into the room and sat with her.

"What happened girl? You were doing so good until you started stuttering. I thought we crossed that bridge."

"You thought wrong." Marinette groaned as Chloe walked in and latched her arms around Adriens neck. Her style didn't change from when they were fifteen.

"Adrikins!" She kissed his cheek as he pulled her off of him. Marinette rolled her eyes. She knew for a fact that Adrien hated Chloe from their talks when she was Ladybug. "I'm throwing a party this weekend and your invited."

"If I'm the only guest again Chloe I'm not talking to you again." Adrien sat down and she flicked her hair and went to her seat in front of him. Class started and everyone else filled in wearing something completely different from when they were fifteen. Max got a buzz cut, Juleka wore more white, Rose grew her hair out, Mylene grew a few inches and cut her hair to a pixie cut. Everyone looked different but different was good. Sabrina, Alya and Nino got rid of their glasses and started wearing contacts more often. The only person who didn't change was Chloe.

"Good morning class." Ms.Bustier smiled. Even if they moved up a grade she stayed with them. "Before we start Kim and Alix have something to tell us."

The got up and went to the front of the classroom. Alix's hair was longer and she grew a few inches. Kim kept his mohawk but the his tips were dyed red. "Okay so we convinced my dad to let us use the beach house all spring break." Alix started off. "All of us are staying for the two weeks no if but ands. No excuses were all staying."

"I'm not staying in some mucky old house for two weeks with peasants." Chloe flicked her hair.

"We could care less if you show up. You'll just cause an Akuma." Kim crossed his arms as the class laughed. "Cancel all plans you did make 'cause now we're all together as a little end of the year party. I mean most of us are gonna go to college some across the world and we might never see each other again. Might make the most of our last year."

"I'm down." Alya and Nino smiled and nudged their friends.

"Why not." Marinette sighed.

"It'll be fun." Adrien smiled. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Marinette do you think you can get your parents to give us food?" Alix looked at her with pleading eyes.

"I could try." Marinette smiled and the class cheered. Classes resumed and all the class could talk about was the two weeks they all were planning but that all kept saying games they would definitely be playing and people they would be getting together. At lunch Marinette was about to go home to eat when Adrien stopped her.

"Wait Marinette!" He yelled as he ran up to her. "Do you want to eat lunch together today?" Her smiled at the blushing girl.

"Sure." She smiled back and they walked to a stand and got smoothies and drank them in the park. Marinette kept stealing glances of Adrien when he looked away. She saw the Lucky Chram she gave him. "You still have it." She said as she pointed to the bracelet in his wrist.

Adrien turned pink. "Yyeah." He smiled. He saw the umbrella by her bag. "Just like you kept the umbrella."

"Oh yeah." Marinette blurted out. They went back to the school and when they day was over Marinette collapsed on her chaise. "Stupid."

"Oh Marinette don't beat yourself up about this." Tikki giggled. "Tell him tomorrow."

"But I know me. I'll keep pushing it off until the last minute and then it'll be to late and I would've lost him."

"Marinette that's just a rumor. He might be staying in Paris for college or might not being going at all."

"Yeah 'might'." Marinette sighed and did her homework and got ready for the next day of school before heading off to bed.
