Chapter 27

Marinette woke up in the apartment and remembered what her and Adrien did.  She grabbed her phone and had message after message from the class asking where they were. Marinette got out of bed and sat in the living room and read through the messages.

"Good morning Princess." Adrien yawned and sat next to her. "What're you doing?"

"Adrien I think we should go back." Marinette looked away from him. "The class is freaking out."

"Marinette."  He tilted her head to face him. "We can go back if you don't like it here."

"I I do but the class is so worried.  We only have a few days left of spring break we should spend it with them."

"Marinette as soon as we get back there Nathalie will send me away."

"Refuse to go with her. Make a scene but as long as it means you're happy then do it."

"I'm happy right here." Adrien kissed her and she kissed back. He didn't want to talk about this, he wanted to be with Marinette in their own apartment, hopefully with a kid someday. He deepened the kiss trying to distract her from what she wanted.

Marinette knew what he was doing and pulled away. "Adrien I am happy here but if it means giving people heart attacks then we should go back."

"Only if you want to."

Marinette contemplated going back. She was happy here with Adrien in their own apartment but she didn't want to scare Alya and Nino and the class. They just left without a trace. "I I do but I don't I just..." Marinette sighed and Adrien kissed her nose.

"You think about it while I make breakfast." Adrien smiled and went to the kitchen and made pancakes and bacon. Marinette sat in the living room contemplating everything.  She wanted to go back but at the same time she didn't.  Adrien came back and gave Marinette her food. "Made up your mind?"

"Nno I mean yes uhm maybe." Marinette groaned.

"We could just send them a text saying we're fine and that we'll be going to school when it starts back up." Adrien pointed out.

"Yeah but then Max being Max would trace where I sent the text and find us and drag us back to the beach house to be scolded."  Marinette sighed and ate her food. Adrien washed the dishes.

"Then don't send it here. Send it at like, the Louvre or the school." Adrien laughed and sat next to her.

"Okay get dressed we're going to the Louvre." Marinette giggled and got up.

"Fine Purrincess." Adrien purred.

"Seriously?" Marinette sighed and Adrien winked. Marinette blushed and hid in the bathroom to change.

Beach House

"Okay so they didn't come back last night.  Where do you think they could be?" Mylene paced the living room with the rest watching Alixs security footage.

"There stop!" Nino said and Alix stopped the video.  "Go back one minute and put it twice as slow." Alix did it and they watched as a black figure carry Marinette out of the balcony and she clung onto him. His electric green eyes looked at the camera and he did a two finger salut before running off into the night.

"Was was that Chat Noir?" Rose said out of disbelief.

"I believe so.  Pay up bitches." Juleka smirked.

"What'd you bet on this time." Alix whined.

"Adrien being Chat Noir. Duh."  Nathanael snorted as Rose and Max handed him and Juleka twenty dollars.

"Guys why don't we just track their phones?" Ivan asked.

"Adrien left his."  Nino held up his phone with a shattered screen.

"What about Marinettes? Like the friends and family plan. Alya you could track her phone."  Alix sat down next to Kim.

"I mean I guess I could try."  Alya pulled out her phone and went to the Find Your Friends app. She opened it and found Marinettes phone offline. "She disconnected it. I think Adrien did it Marinette doesn't know how to do that without her phone being completely off."

"Why would he do that?" Kim asked.

"Wouldn't you do that if people were trying to tear you apart." Nino sighed and ran his hand through his hair. His phone buzzed and he grabbed it. "Marinette texted me guys!" Nino yelled.

"What does it say?" Alya asked with concern.

"Adrien and I are fine. We're going to go school when it starts back up but for now we're going to stay together at an apartment." Nino read off his phone. "Max trace its source."

Max grabbed his phone and hooked it up to his laptop and found the phone in thirty seconds. "They're at the Lourve."

"What?! That's so far away!" Rose yelled.

"Max the dot's moving." Kim drank his soda. "Why's to moving."

"I made it to also track her phone wherever she went.  When it stops we would have found them. We can also hack into her camera and listen to what they are saying." He adjusted his glasses.

"Wanna listen in?" Alix smirked and a few people nodded. Max hacked into her speakers and the camera just in case and they listened in.

"Adrien are you sure this was a good idea?" Marinette asked.

"My father would have torn us apart if we didn't. I can't lose you." Adrien pleaded.

"I can't lose you either but I kinda feel bad. They're worrying about us and all I send is a text vaguely describing what we're doing."  Marinette crossed her arms.

"We can go back if you want but Marinette if we do then they'll tear us apart. All people will do it try to tear us apart."

"We put you together! What the fuck Agreste!" Alix yelled hoping he would hear.

"Adrien I don't know what I want to do.  All I know its that we should only do what makes us happy."

"Being with you makes me happy that's why I can't lose you."

Marinette sighed. "Okay. Let's go back so I can make us lunch." Marinette smiled and Max unhacked her.

"He's fucking with her head to get what he wants." Nathanael said breaking their ten minute silence.

"Adrien wouldn't do that would he?" Juleka worried.

"I know the dude. He would do whatever it took to get what he wants to make him happy." Nino sighed and they fell silent again.
