Chapter 9: Prodigy's Warehouse

Jack didn't know anything about the people who kidnapped Nikita except for that it's someone from Tokyo and the person goons are the same ones who used to work for the Rogue Knight. He tried asking around but no one knew of any serious gang or bad corporation. Either that or no one was telling him. He asked around everywhere until he accidentally passed the Canadian border. He didn't even notice until a Canadian police officer stooped him and asked him,"What are you doing, eh? You can't cross the border without American or Canadian citizenship, eh." "Umm...excuse me sir but I'm in a rush. My fiance has been kidnapped by some dangerous corporation and I'm trying to find her and save her," replied Jack. "Sorry, sir, but no papers means no crossing the border," said the officer. Jack could my afford to waste time by being arrested again so he decided to make a run for it. He stared wide eyed and pointed behind the cop shouting,"A guy with a gun!" The Canadian officer swiftly turning around aiming his pistol at...a tree stump. But by the time he turned around Jack was already far away. He ran to his car started the siren and drove after Jack. Jack kept running and when he realize that he couldn't outrun the police car he headed into the woods. The cop stopped the car and called for back up. Jack ran for hours on end as lots of Canadian cops scoured the woods for Jack. Eventually he ran to a cliff and at the drop off of the cliff was a stunning city. He didn't have time to site see. Instead he hurried down the cliff and ran into the nearest building which happened to be an old abandoned warehouse. He slipped between the skinny entrance of the warehouse which was pad locked. As soon as he entered he back away slowly from the entrance flashlights and search lights were watching for him everywhere barely skewering through the cracks. He looks around at his surroundings. The warehouse was much bigger on the inside. He walked around until he came to the middle of the warehouse...then an almost invisible net circles around hi and lifts him off the ground."What the-!" He said aloud. He struggled to get free but the more he struggled the more tangled up he got. He tried reaching for his sword but he was too tangled up. Looks like he was stuck until someone comes by probably after they demolished the building. But just as he was thinking this some one a teenager comes in."So,"said the teenager,"How's it going Jack?" "How do you know my name!!!" Jack shouted. "Easy. H2O told me to watch out for you just in case you stop by,"he said,"By the way my name is Prodigy Jackson.I am literally a 13 year old prodigy who can hack into any system on the planet. H2O told me that you may need my help in exchange for the help you didn't receive from him." "Can you cut me from this net first?" Jack asked. Prodigy presses a button and the net falls back down to the ground. "So where shall we start?" Prodigy asked. "Well my girlfriend was kidnapped by one of my dead enemies goons and I'm trying to hurry up and find her and save her. She was kidnapped at our wedding where I on the other hand was at a tux shop waiting for what seem to have been a diversion," Jack said. "Ok let me figure this out," Prodigy said. He pulls out a keyboard and starts typing away. Finally when he was done he asks,"And when was she kidnapped?" "Around 12:00 in Tokyo," replied Jack. Prodigy types a little longer then stops. "I think the person who kidnapped you girl friend tapped into my system which is pretty impossible. An incoming video message," Prodigy said turning the laptop towards Jack. He played the video and Jack watched with anticiparion. At first the screen was empty until a dark figure appear and said,"Hello Jack I am the Shiwong Hacker and I have kidnapped your precious beloved! What I want? No I don't want a ransom neither do I want revenge. I just want to kill Nikita for no reason. Also because of her I can't spend time with best friend, matter of fact, my only friend. You won't be able to save her. In fact, in 5 days I'm going to execute your little girl friend at the top of the Empire State Building in New York. See ya then." Before he turned off the camera he turned it to face a bounded and chained Nikita with a gag in her mouth. She was trying to scream something but of course she couldn't let the words out. The dark figure, who was completely covered so that Jack couldn't see his face, walked up to Nikita and felt her chest. Then the video turned off. Jack punched his fist into the warehouse wall in frustration leaving a dent. "I can show you where the building is that he's talking about," Prodigy said without looking up from his laptop. All Jack could do was nod. Whoever that was who had kidnapped Nikita was soon going to catch hell.
