Chapter 14: Its Either her or the World

Jack had to take the stairs to the very top because the elevator was out of order. He ran up top as fast as his legs would take him. He came early so that he would be ready for Javand. By the time he reached the top floor he tried opening the door to the roof but it wouldn't budge. Jack didn't have time for this. He takes out both of his swords and sliced the door in two making an X. Then bursts through the door. What he saw on the roof took him completely by surprise. His bet friend Juvilee was holding Nikita and a remote for some device next to him. It was some kind of huge ray. "So Jack you made it to New York! Good for you. You ruined my plan. I was going to execute Nikita as Javand so that you wouldn't realize my true identity so that we could be friends forever but you just had to go and ruin that, too. So now Doomsday has to come early. But in the end I still give you a choice: The doomsday device is fully loaded and here's the remote. You either kill me and stop Doomsday or you save your girl friend who I'm about to push off the building. But I doubt you have time to both," Juvilee said with a crazed look in his eyes. "Please don't do this,"Jack said moving forward very slowly sheathing his swords. "Too late,"said Juvilee and pushes Nikita off of the building. Nikita screamed as she fell to her death. Jack ran and jumped after her. Then in midair with all his might he threw his sword at Juvilee's hand. It barely scratched Juvilee but he dropped the remote anyway. Then Jack dived to catch up with Nikita. Finally he caught up to her. He use all of his power to perform his most dangerous power technique yet. He created a Life Bubble around Nikita. This drained every ounce of energy out of him. He was almost lifeless. Nikita stared in horror as she realized what Jack had done. See the Life Bubble is invincible. Its impossible to pop. It will only pop when the one who created it dies. She started screaming but no sounds were heard. Jack smiled and mouthed the words "Do you take me to be your husband?". "I do" she mouthed. "Do you take me to be your wife?" she mouthed. "I do" he mouthed back. She had tears in her eyes. "I love you" he mouthed before he impacted with the ground. The fall killed Jack instantly and so Nikita's bubble popped. She was safe and sound but she cried over Jack's body.
