The moon fox and the sun wolf

Luckily this lady had clothes for us to change in. She gave Leo a shirt and overalls and me a blue dress. It's really small though I can hardly move around without fear of it tearing.
"Now you two sit there and I'll get Cosmos. Sure he's sleeping somewhere."
She quickly leaves the room, giving me and Leo a chance to look around.
This place looks like a creepy old house that hasn't been cleaned In years!!
The lady and a man walk into the room. The guy looks like he just woke up from a nap. Smells of alcohol and smoke.
"Who's these?"
"The sun wolf and his mate."
"Why they here? Couldn't have sex at their house?"
I hear Leo growl.
"No baby. They here to see you remember?"
He doesn't say anything for a long time."...when did you say you wanted to see me?"
"Alpha Orion said-"
"Orion?! He sent ya?! Ah hell naw I don't wanna talk to you. Go to Orion if you have questions. I'm not the alpha anymore I don't do anything. You leave me know now!"
Alpha Cosmos starts to leave his mate tells him to stay but he won't listen.
"I didn't get up to have some dumb kids come ask me about the sky. Probably just want to know what a star is huh?"
"No!" I grab the alpha's hand."we came all this way and you're telling us to go away! You're the only who knows about the night sky! Please help us! I need to know about the night sky!"
He stares at my purple eye for a long time.
"...what are you?"
"I'm the last living fox."

Leo

Once London said she was a fox, Orion agreed to tell us about the night sky and the Moon pack.
"Now how much has your parents told you about your role in being the alpha of Sun?"
Honestly not much. Any time I asked, they'd change the subject. Lately they've been to tired from working to even talk about. Ever since I nice I was six I wasn't really able to see much of my parents in the day. They were always busy with alpha and Luna duties.
"So nothing?" I didn't answer, he knew what I'd say." Alright then. Well get comfy. I got some explaining to do."

"Back when I was Alpha the Stars, Moon, and Sun worked together to protect and flourish the werewolf species.
"The sun provided sunlight and warmth for animals and crops. The stars gave information on what to plant and on the weather. The also gave directions and told grand stories of our ancestors and their lives. The moon was especially important; giving light to the night and crops much needed moon light to grow, it also was the most important because it was our goddess."
"The moon goddess?"
He nodded."Her beauty matches no other and her power is limitless. She is the one that made us and gives us life and mates. Our great moon goddess is everything.
"But the great goddess is not an immortal being like the stories say, no she's no different than any other wolf, except she has the power to control the moon, and therefore us. If the moon goddess ever choose she could kill our whole species in a single blink. The moon is her home and we are her servants."
"Then why hasn't she killed us?" London asked."the moon is destroyed. Why doesn't she kill us if we killed her home?!"
"I'm afraid my young foxling you don't understand. The Moon Pack had control over the moon."
"But you said the moon goddess has control over the moon."
"So who do you think was the Luna of the moon pack?"

I let it sink in... the moon goddess was the Luna of the Moon pack!!
Orion smiles when he sees that we got it. "The moon goddess is always the eldest daughter of the previous moon pack's Luna. When Beta killed the royal family he killed the moon goddess and her successor. I knew the Moon Pack very well, their daughters where wonderful girls. They both would have been perfect Luna's, they both would have been wonderful moon goddesses."
"Why did Alpha Bates kill all the foxes?! Why did hate us so much?!" She says. London begins to shake. I grabbed her hand to comfort her.
"I honestly have no idea why Bates attacked the Moon Pack. When Charlotte rejected him, Bates was not the same wolf. He seemed like something wasn't just rejected but... died when Charlotte left him. She even left him for another man. He had rejected his mate so he could be with Charlotte. I never knew his name but I heard that he was a fox."
Bates was dumped by his girl for a fox, why do I fell like I've heard this before?
"Why is the moon starting to return? You must've noticed it by now."
"Believe me to an untrained eye the sky has made no changes, but to my son and I we see that something is happening to the world of the night. My guess is Bates somehow has a royal family member, or he has the Moon Staff."
"Moon Staff?" London and I repeat.
He nods."The moon goddess controls the moon and wolves with the Moon Staff. It's a powerful ancient weapon that only the royal family knew its location."
"Then how can Bates have it?"
"I believe he had something to do with the moon pack's disappearance."

"Alpha Bates is the reason why I'm the only fox left..."
"I don't know for sure about that. But when I heard they had disappeared Bates and his pack made no effort to investigate. The sun pack is still searching correct?"
Leo nods."some of the older betas search around instead of staying at home in retirement, nobody has found any information though, they've tried to ask the human villages around the star pack but they just run away, they've even killed a few of our wolves that went to talk to them."
"Humans have never been a fan of us wolves, we thought they were finally existent years ago, but then a few small villages starting popping up again. We figured it's best for them to be left alone, they're rather sensitive creatures."
Looking back at the years I spend with them, I don't know if I completely agree with that. Sure they had difficulties finding food and supplies for everyday life, but they managed. Making tools and weapons to help them survive. Humans were pretty crafty.
"Is their a chance Bates could notice the moon returning and attack us again?"
"He's only attacked you once? Leocadio believe me that man has only just begun."
