"So here we are" Aria said, pushing Ezra's wheelchair through the door.
"This place is nice" Ezra proclaimed which made Aria's heart burst.
"Yeah it is" Aria stopped the wheelchair next to the bed. "Your probably really tired. Do you want to take a nap?"
"Sure" Ezra said, getting out of the wheelchair but struggling to do so.
After 5 minutes, he was in the bed under the covers.
"I have to go out to the store. Will you be okay here?" Aria questioned pointing towards the front door.
"Yeah I'll be fine" He said
Aria left the apartment, locking it behind her.
Aria unlocked the door to her parents house and crept inside.
"Mom.. Dad... Mike" she called
No response.
She ran up the stairs. Two at a time. She finally approached her old room and went into the closet. She searched through it until she found the dress and black leather jacket she was looking for. She shoved them into a bag and drug it to the car. Aria hurried to so her parents wouldn't come home before she left. She placed the bag in the backseat and jumped in the drivers seat. Soon enough she was at the brew, unlocking Ezra's apartment door once again. She searched through his drawers until she found a blue button down sweater, a grey tank top and a pair of jeans. Aria shoved them in the bag with her clothes and exited. She finally got back to the apartment where Ezra was now awake and sitting at the kitchen table.
"Hey I'm back" Aria announced and Ezra waved. "You hungry?"
"A little" He responded
"Well I thought we could go get something. You up for that?" She asked and he nodded.
"I can walk pretty good now so i don't need the wheelchair" he assured her
"Okay but before we go put these on" She handed him is clothes. "I'm going to change in the bathroom. You get ready."
Ten minutes later, Aria was wearing the dress and the jacket. She walked into the main room where Ezra was. He had too put on the clothes Aria had given him.
"You look good" He told her and she smiled.
"You too" She replied "Let's go"
"Where are we going?" He questioned as she led him to the car.
"You'll see" She added giving him a flirty look.
They spent 15 minutes in silence as Aria drove. When they arrived at the place, they took a seat.
"You stay here. I'll be right back" Aria assured him. "Here's a book you can read while I'm gone. You always used to like it"
Aria slid off the barstool and approached the jukebox. She put a coin into it and pushed a button. Then she returned to her seat, plopping into it.
"Can I get a cheeseburger please?" She asked the bartender and he nodded.
Ezra was reading the book and had already ordered a scotch. He was in the middle of the book which was odd. He didn't even look in Aria's direction. Aria waited for her cheeseburger when a song started playing. The song she'd requested. She looked over at Ezra who met her eyes and slid down two seats.
"I love this song" Aria proclaimed, listening to the soft voices.
"B26" Ezra smiled
Aria smiled back "Ezra"
"Aria Marie Montgomery" He proclaimed
Aria sat in shock.
"You really thought dressing us in the clothes that we met in and taking us to the place we met and playing the song would bring back my memory?" He said laughing
"Well it worked" She said smiling
"Yeah it did" He said taking her hand in his.
