CHAPTER 2

" I'm The Doctor." He said simply, like it explained everything. "But.. But.." She stammered. "Where did IT come from? And how did you fit in it? Not that you're... Urr.."

He took no time in replying. "It might be easier if you have look". When Sara didn't move he gestured to the police box again.

"Fine" she said before striding in. Inside was a large (control?) room with, what looked to be, tree trunk shaped columns. "Woah" She turned and mouthed.

"It's huge!" She screamed. "How's this possible?" She asked.

It was his turn to stammer. " Errrr.. Multiple dimensions... Wibbly wobbly timely wimey.."

"Right. How do you work it then?"

"Tell me your name first!"

"Sara. Now answer the question."

"You don't need to know that."

"What does it do then? What's it called? Does it even have a name?"

"It's called the TARDIS. Time And Relative Dimension In Space. It does what it says on the tin."

Sara looked around her. "So we could go anywhere, meet anyone?"

"We?"queried The Doctor.

"Yup. I could tell the world about this. Do you wanna take that chance? Huh, spaceman?"

"One trip."The Doctor said, relenting.

"What?" Now she was puzzled. She hadn't expected he'd say yes!

"You heard me. Where do you wanna go?"

"Ummm..."

"The moon of poosh? The medusa casca-"

"Why the police box?" She interrupted.

"Chameleon circuit"

"Huh?"

"WHERE?"

What was that poosh thing you were talking about?"

"Moon of poosh it is! Lovely place..."

The Doctor ran around, what Sara assumed was, the control table. He started pulling levers, turning small wheels and pressing lots of buttons. "What are yo-" Sara was interrupted buy a series of large jolts.

"Hold on!" The Doctor shouted.

Sara grabbed a hold of a bar near to her. Suddenly, the room stopped moving and she was left breathing heavily.

" I hope that meant we've arrived" she said, gasping.

"It does actually." He said, matter-of-factly.

"I've never actually been here before..." He said, opening the door.

"So, what you've just said is that we're gonna be lost?"

"Yes. But it'll be fun!"

"I'll be the judge of that, thank you very much."

"Do you know anyone called Donna?"

"Not that I know of. Why?"

She was confused. Why would he ask her something like that? Of course she knew a Donna. She knew lots of Donnas. There was Donna Levi in her class, Donna Smith in her running club, and of course their was her aunt Donna. Donna Noble. But that was her old name. She's married now. To a nice guy called... Nevermind. Anyway, he was a nice guy and she loved him so much..

"Sara?"

"Huh? Yes?"

"Are you there?"

"I think so"

"Good. Are ready to take your first steps onto a alien planet?"

"Why are taking me here? We've only just met!"

"Why with all the questions? I don't know why I took you here. Always the same... I guess I just like seeing the look of pure joy they get when they see something new..."

"Come on then!" Sara said, walking over to the door and pulling it open. "Aren't you coming?"

"Of course, I'm coming."he said, running after her.
