"Mama, what do I do now?", a little pink haired girl asked. She'd been helping her mother in the kitchen for a party they were hosting that day.

"Can you mix everything in that bowl, Nashi?", her mother responded.

Nashi nodded and gladly got the whisk and started to mix. She started to hum a song her mother taught her when she was younger, Snow Fairy. Her mother looked at her and joined by singing the lyrics.

"What type of cake did you want to make again, dear?"

"Strawberry cake! Aunt Erza's coming, right? She likes it."

"Aunt Erza will be very happy.", her mother smiled softly. "You did a good job mixing. Can you call the boys in to help?"

Nashi hopped off the stool she was standing on in the kitchen and skipped out the house to the backyard. There she found her older brother and her father fighting.

"Daddy! Iggy! Mama's calling you!", the girl shouted.

"No can do, sis. Dad and I are having a serious fight over here.", Igneel called out.

"Come on, Nashi! Help me defeat blondie over here!", her father invited her to the fight.

Nashi didn't want to admit it, but she may have wanted to fight a bit. Okay, actually a lot. She got her fighting spirit from her father, Natsu Dragneel. Fortunately, her mother was Lucy Dragneel and Nashi got her calm demeanor from her. Unlike her, Igneel was in no way calm. He was a very outgoing boy.

"No way! She's going to be on my team and we're going destroy you, Dad!", Igneel shouted.

"I'm going to be on my own team.", Nashi sighed. "You two are weak and that's why you want me to be on your team."

"Don't be such a grump, Nashi. I'm not weak! It would just be more fun if it was two against one, don't you think?", complained the blonde boy.

"Fine.", the girl agreed. "But I'm only on your team so I can defeat Daddy."

Igneel smiled as she walked over to his side. The siblings both got into their battle positions. Their father smirked at the sight of his kids prepared to fight him.

They're going to grow up strong. Just wait until they learn magic.

The kids ran towards him and started their attack. Nashi was punching her father in the stomach while Isamu was hitting him with a large stick he had found. Their attacks didn't have an effect on Natsu, though. He was laughing loudly as they continued to attack.

"You're not supposed to laugh at us!!", yelled an angry Igneel.

"This isn't fair! We're smaller than you, Daddy!", Nashi complained.

"Well I guess you have to get stronger and bigger!", Natsu laughed as the tackled his kids onto the ground and tickled them.

"Natsu! What are you doing?! You're getting the kids dirty. We have guests arriving soon!", the children's mother fussed.

"We were fighting, Luce. Loosen up a bit, will ya?", Natsu chuckled.

"Come on Nashi, Igneel. Go upstairs and change. Clean your rooms while your up there."

Nashi followed her mother inside obediently. Igneel stayed behind. He looked at his pink haired father laying on the ground beside him.

"Hey, Dad?"

"What's up, kiddo?"

"You said we have to get stronger and bigger, right?", the blonde boy asked his father nervously.

"Yeah, well, everyone does, though. You will too.", Natsu reassured his son.

"When I do", Igneel hesitated a bit to continue."C-can we have a real fight?"

The boy's father was shocked to hear that. He could easily understand why he wanted to. He knew that his son had a strong fighting personality. He just didn't want him getting into real fights. Natsu knew what real fights turn into, and he didn't want his kids to experience it.

"Please, Dad! Promise me we will. Promise me that you'll have a real fight with me!", his son begged.

"Don't worry, Igneel. I promise I will. Now go upstairs and get ready for the party."

"Okay!"

Natsu watched his son go back inside the house and thought about his kids future. Would he and Lucy ever tell them about Fairy Tail? He wanted them to learn magic and experience guild life, but that would mean they would go on long journeys and do dangerous things. He couldn't bear if they got injured. Or worse.

I've become a scaredy cat, haven't I, Lucy?

He got up and entered the house. As he entered he saw his wife putting food on the table. He smiled as he quietly walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She squeaked in surprise and turned around.

"Natsu! You scared me."

"Well, it was the perfect opportunity. I couldn't just let it go!", he laughed.

"Go change your shirt. It's covered in dirt.", the blonde woman demanded.

"Okay, Mom.", Natsu joked as he walked to their room. He heard the doorbell ring and quickly put on a different shirt.

"Hi, Juvia!", he heard Lucy greet the blue haired woman. Natsu walked out the room to say "hello" to the guests.

"Hey, Juvia. Where's your husband?", he asked looking behind her.

"Hello, everyone. Gray's trying to bring Storm. He didn't want to come today.", Juvia giggled.

"Kids being kids. Well, I'll go help him. Luce will keep you company.", the pink haired man jogged outside looking for his friend. After a few minutes he found what he was looking for. A dark haired man carrying a screaming blue haired boy.

"I told you already! I don't want to go!"

"Everyone's going to be there. You have to go. Trust me, if I could leave you be instead of doing this, I would gladly not make you come.", Gray grumpily explained.

"Hey, ice princess! Need a hand?", Natsu called out laughing. He enjoyed watching Gray's and Storm's "father-son moments".

"Hell no, flame brains. Take care of your own kids!"

The two men walked to the house talking about what they've done since they last saw each other, mocked each other and made fun of almost everything. When they arrived, Gray let go of his son and Natsu had told him that Isamu and Nashi were upstairs. He left and the two friends stayed outside talking.

"So, do you ever think about teaching Storm magic?"

"He's already learning Water Magic with Juvia.", Gray mumbled. "What about your kids?"

"I don't know. I'm all about them learning magic and joining a guild. Of course I'm also worried about what they'll do, but Lucy's more paranoid than I am. She doesn't even want to tell them about Fairy Tail!"

"I can understand that, though. She's worried about them. Don't worry, idiot. She'll tell them eventually.", the dark haired man said.

"I hope so.", Natsu sighed. "They're going to figure it out sooner or later and are going to be pretty upset to know we kept such a huge secret from them."
