Chapter 9: The New Fairy Tail

Nine years after the children learned magic, a new Fairy Tail was arising. The initiative started the twins Emery and Eva Redfox, being 22 years old. Their parents, Gajeel and Levy were very open about their past, but never discouraged the children against magic. In fact, they both knew some magic. Emery, the introverted and studious one, knew advanced Story Weaving Magic, a powerful magic that could manipulate realities through storytelling. Eva, the adventurous and outgoing one, knew powerful Iron-Make Magic.

Together with Cedric Fernandes, at the age of 19 years old, and Nova Dreyar, at 21 years old, they were a formidable group of young mages. Cedric picked up after his mother, Erza, and learned Requip Magic, having an alarming amount of armor in a pocket dimension. Nova was a fierce Lightning Magic-using mage who knew no limits to her power.

The four of them had started their own Independent guild years ago, but their parents didn't like the idea of four unsupervised teenagers using magic without being approved by the Magic Council, so Erza stepped in and reestablished Fairy Tail as the new Master. As soon as Asuka Connell heard about a new Fairy Tail, she left the guild she was a part of as she wanted to be part of the guild her parents had died fighting for. As the other children got older, they wanted part of it, too.

Nova's cousin, Orion, was one of the first to join. Elise and Trixie soon joined their friend, forming the group The Arcane Menagerie. Being 18 years old, they were all pretty confident with their magic. Orion learned his mother's Animal Soul Magic, being able to turn into a variety of animals at will. Elise used Solid Script Magic, but also used Sword Magic with her rapier. Trixie was a skilled puppet designer who captured human souls in her designs and used her Human Possession Magic to manipulate the puppets.

One by one, new members appeared. Many familiar faces, many new faces. Fairy Tail, after one year, was full of excitment, voices, and cheer. Since the guild was new, there weren't any difficult jobs to do, yet. Asuka was the most experienced and she tried helping the younger ones with their jobs and training. She was an S-Class mage in her old guild and had high hopes for the new generation of mages.

Igneel, Storm, Barley and Bartholomew had already joined the guild. The seventeen-year-olds had already formed a group of their own: The Celestial Court. Igneel and Barley were both users of Holder Magic. Igneel used his mother's Celestial Spirit Magic and Barley used Croupier Spirit Magic. Storm was a very talented mage who used Water-Make Magic. Bartholomew was Igneel's blue Exceed partner, who usually reprimanded him for his careless actions.

It was now Nashi's and her friend Alette's turn to enter Fairy Tail. They were waiting months for this. Their parents had told them that when they were 15, they could enter the guild. Luckily for the girls, they were born on the same day and could join the guild on the same day, too.

Nashi woke up with banging on her door and lazily got out of bed.

"Well, if it isn't my favorite distraction", yawned Nashi. "And happy birthday."

"Happy birthday to you, too. Now hurry! Let's go!"

Nashi was pushed down the stairs by her friend and was being pushed out of the doorway until Lucy appeared.

"Nashi, where do you think you're going in your pajamas?"

Nashi looked down and realized that she hadn't changed her clothes yet. She told Alette to wait for her and ran up the stairs to put on her clothes. She put on her favorite black dress, purple jacket, black tights and black boots. She put her pink hair in a ponytail and ran back down the stairs.

Alette was sitting at the table along with her dad, her mom and Igneel. The girl with brown hair was admiring the flower arrangements on the table.

"Hey, Nashi! Good morning! Happy birthday! Your brother made pancakes for you.", called out Natsu.

Nashi sat down for breakfast and her family sang her happy birthday before leaving. Her parents gave her a Kemu Zaleon novel for her birthday.

Alette and Nashi then went running off to Fairy Tail to start their adventures.
