"Last round. Then, break." Aki shouted from the bench.

You rested your hands on your knees, panting. You took a deep breath and jogged a bit as Aki shouted, "Break."

Thoroughly exhausted, you plopped on the grass as Haruna handed you a bottle.

Drinking down the cool liquid, your panting stopped.

"So I have some info about out next opponent." And blah, blah, blah.

Haruna started saying stuff which you didn't bother to listen. After what seemed like forever, she adjusted her pink specs on her nose and said that that was it.

You stood up and got rid of the dirt. Walking up to the team who had gathered around Coach, you heard, "There will be a match between two parts of the team." 

And the Coach divided the team into two.

You had Gouenji and Kidou in your team along with some other dudes. While Endou, Kabeyama and Kazemaru were the different team.

(I'm mentioning them only because I need them here. Make up the others yourself. )

"Ready." And the purple-ish blue haired girl blew the whistle.

"Oeoe, here!" You yelled and Gouenji passed you the ball. You made your way past the defenders and tried to kick the ball in with your hissastu.

"(SHOT NAME)!" You said and kicked the ball with your left foot when you heard a crack. Like, a small crack which you easily ignored.

The ball was going fine, but it kissed the corner of the post and flew away.

You looked at disappointment as the ball rolled away.

"I won't improve like this." You mutter and tried -tried to walk to your position -which was midfielder slash striker when you felt a throbbing pain arise in your left foot.

You led out a small yelp but managed to save yourself from falling. You looked around met brown eyes, belonging to .. Kazemaru. His eyes showed concern and worry and you gave him a half-smile, gritting your teeth hoping the pain would go away.

He was in the opponent team. You can't let your feelings get in the way.

So yeah, this is what had happened last week. In one of Endou's home parties, you guys played truth or dare and Gouenji dared you to kiss him because he kind of found out about your teeny-weeny crush on the tealnette. You didn't have strong feelings for him then. Just a small crush. But after that small moment, he seemed to not get out of your head.

You were best friends almost. But after that, he stopped talking to you- yes, you yourself were planning to avoid him and the awkward things. He avoided you at all costs just like you did, although you were dying to talk to him like you used to. 

[WE DON'T TALK ANYMORE, WE DON'T TALK ANYMORE, WE DON'T TALK ANYMORE LIKE WE USED TO DOOOOOO]  

You rolled your foot and the pain seemed to have lessened. You tapped the ground and the pain was a faint silhouette, but still there.

You walked to your position and the game resumed. As you were not marked -actually, you were, but you got rid of them, you asked for the ball which you gladly got from Kidou.
