Chapter 6

A/N
HEYYY I'm back and the picture above is of nico because why not x.

Vicky's POV
So I was at this camp with this guy and a lot had happened.

So I was in my garden at home thinking about what had happened I was really upset and angry at my parents. I didn't why they were making a big deal out of my hair. They gave me my phone back which theyd taken so i couldnt contact riva.I quickly texted her explaining why i wasnt replying.
I knew they're was something up but I didn't know what so I went to their room looking for anything.They were in the sitting room so I had to be quiet.I looked through their wardrobes and drawers and one of the drawers was locked I threw things everywhere making a mess but I couldn't find the key I was getting frustrated.I then decided to pick the lock with my bobbin pin and surprisingly it worked.

I opened it and found a letter that looked fancy.It was written with some gold ink I was intrigued by this. The letter said:
Dear Mr and Mrs Green
Thank u for accepting my child I am very grateful for this but I have some requests she cannot know what she is and who I am.
Someday she will find out on her own and I do not look forward to it.I will deliver her myself please take good care of her I'll be watching every year or so to make sure she's safe. Goodbye for now
Helena
I stared at the letter trying to understand it did I have a sibling or was I adopted and who's Helena.
I then heard footsteps I rushed to clean up the mess I'd made but it was too late my mom came in looking confused and seen what I was holding I my hand..the letter
"What r u doing with that letter"
She asked
"Explain this right now!"
"Its nothing dear nothing important"
"NOTHING WHAT DO U MEAN NOTHING!"
"oh dear please leave it and come with me downstairs"
I was beyond frustrated she was ignoring my questions and I was not happy at all.
My dad then came up
"What is going on in here why r u screaming" he asked
"Explain this" I told him harshly
He looked at the letter and his eyes widened.He made eye contact with my mom and said
"I think its time we tell her"
"Tell me what"
And they then explained to me how I was adopted and I started crying it was too much.They were about tell me what I was or who my mother was but before they could,A creature came through the window it was terrifying It was half human and half dragon everything was going too fast and before I could stop what was going to happen next ,the monstrous creature sank her teeth in to my parents and they fell to the ground. I was shaking in a corner no idea what to do I was scared but I had to do something.It started coming towards me I wasn't prepared.I ran the other direction but it caught my arm.I hit it with a vase and it wailed.I used this time to run.I ran and ran and ran till I knew I was away from it.I stopped on a a pathway near some shops and as I looked ahead the thing was there I screamed for help but no one reacted to the monstrous thing standing in front of me.

Then next thing u know a guy about my age slices through the monsters head with this sword and no one one the streets said anything I was confused was I going insane.
He came up to me
"Are u okay"
He had curly blond hair and gray eyes and he was cute.
But after all that had happened I had no idea what to say.
"Whats going and what was that and this is just a dream right and who r u?" I had so many questions.
"OK calm down and I'll explain everything,let's go somewhere else first"
"My my parents theyre hurt".
"I checked on your parents before I came here looking for u."
"Annddd r they okay good alive right"
"I'm really sorry but they passed away that bite poisoned them"
My eyes filled with tears they were gonxx
My parents were gone I was alone and riva wasn't even here just a stranger a guy I didn't know I felt alone.
"Hey its okay let's get u home"
It wasn't okay but I went, I went home and I needed to talk to someone I knew I texted riva waiting for her to reply and texted her again I was texting her since what had happened and she wouldn't reply at all.

The guy came with a glass of water and handed it to me. He told me his name was Matthew ,Matt for short.
"Tell me what's going on"I asked
And then he told me everything about the Greek gods and that I was a demigod and that monster was a dracaena.he told me about camp half blood too.A/N I don't know if I spelt dracaena right do soz and im also too lazy to explain about the Greek gods but you know what I'm talking about rightt.
He explained everything and I believed him eventually.As crazy as it did sound I seen the monster with my own eyes.
He then said we had to leave to go to camp.I went to my parents room and cried and kissed them good bye.Even though they died I would never ever forget them Even if they weren't my real parents I loved them.I packed my stuff and we headed to camp.

A/N for some reason I didn't like writing this chapter because I hate filler chapters and this was written really badly so sry about that and I'm not good at writing death scenes because I've never had someone close to me die so I can't really relate to the characters but I tried to make it sad.Next chapter will be much better .thanks for reading xx
