Chapter 9

HEY GUYS SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED FOR A COUPLE WEEKS. EVERY OCTOBER MY SCHEDULE IS ALWAYS FULL....SO HERE'S CHAPTER 9

ARIA'S POV

After leaving Ezra in the bathroom I decide to make coffee. I hear him sigh and I turn around. Ezra is wearing my purple robe, which only goes to his thighs.

"You look hilarious!" I manage to say while laughing. He starts laughing too. I grab my phone and quickly take a picture.

"Aria!" Ezra runs over to me and starts tickling me. "Delete the picture."

"Never!" I say laughing. "Tickle me all you want I'm not deleting the picture."

We both stop when we hear a knock. Ezra runs to the bathroom and I go answer the door.

"Hey mom." I say still smiling. "Come on in." She walks in and puts a

plastic bag and her purse on the table. "Ezra my mom's here!" I yell.

He walks out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist now. "Let me grab some clothes and I will be right out." He grabs clothes out of his drawers and goes back in.

"What were you two laughing about before I came?" I could hear you guys when I was walking through the hall."

I pull out my phone and show her the picture. "Don't tell him I showed you. He will kill me."

My mom laughs quietly. "Your secret is safe with me."

I put my phone back into my pocket as Ezra comes out of the bathroom, fully dressed. He tries to act casual. "Hello Ella."

My mom smiles. "Hello Ezra." I try not to laugh. "So mom, what did you come over for?" She walks over to the table and takes a Manila folder from the plastic bag. "We need to start planning!"

"You just found out last night! You seem more excited than Ezra and I!" My mom just laughs. Ezra and I sit on the couch and my mom sits on the chair across from us.

"So what day is the wedding?"

"We were thinking October 16."

- ---- 3 Hours later----

EZRA'S POV

"Goodbye." I say as I shut the door behind Ella.

"That was tiring!" Aria whines.

"Yes, very." I look at the clock. "it's

Already 3:15!"

Aria sighs. "Already!"

"We still have to go shopping for some more baby stuff. Can we just eat out after?"

"Ya, lets go!" Aria grabs her purse and I grab the keys.

"This is so cute!"

I nod my head in agreement and pick a onesie off the shelf. "How about this one?" I ask holding it up for Aria to see.

"9 months ago...my mommy read Fifty Shades of Gray."

We both laugh. I put it back.

Aria grabs a baby blue onesie off the rack. "I like this one."

I read it in my head. 'I get my good looks from my daddy.' I smile at her and look away. Pain washes over me.

"I'm so sorry baby. I didn't realize."

"It's ok sweetie. My biggest wish right now is that the baby is ours and not Wes's." My eyes fill with tears and I tighten my jaw.

"That is my biggest wish too." Aria says softly as she takes my hands and kisses me gently on the cheek. I pull her in for a hug.

"Ezra?" Aria and I look over and see my mother and her new boyfriend, Kenneth. I watch my mother's face transform into disgust, when she sees Aria. "....and Aria." she says nastily.

"What are you doing at 'Babies R' Us'?" I ask bitterly.

"I am wondering the same thing about you."

"Wes didn't tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"Aria and I are going to be parents." I say proudly.

"What?!"

"Ya, it's a boy. He's due September 21st"

She looks at Aria. "How dare you ruin my son's life!"

"Do NOT talk to Aria like that! She did not ruin my life and she never will! she has made my life better!" I step a little closer. "And for the record you are not my mom so never call me your son." I take Aria's hand and we walk away with our shopping cart.
