I stood outside the train station. I couldn't wait. Jason was coming home today and I haven't seen him in a month. He went to go visit his mom back in California. He lives here, Arizona, with his dad. Jason and I have been dating for a very long time. I love him so much. I called him everyday when he was in California. We would talk for hours on the phone. I miss the sound of his voice.
I should tell you how I met Jason Sapwood. It was the beginning of middle school. Everyone was excited to be in a new school. We were all waiting to grow up. Everyone had meet up with their friends. I would be doing the same, but my best friend moved to the other side of the country. I was all alone on my first day. No one wouldn't like that. It would be hard fitting in with everyone else who had their friends. I just stayed to myself.
I walked to my first class. I say a boy, Jason, hanging out with Joseph Sanchez. Joseph was the type of guy you'd like to hang out with. He wasn't popular but he was friends with everyone. Even the popular guys. He wasn't athletic or anything. He just had this charm to him that everyone liked. I even liked him. So, back to what I was saying, I noticed Jason. His brown eyes mixed with his Justin Bieber hair style. I was never a fan of Justin Bieber but Jason looked like him.
I found myself blushing when he looked my way. I should mention that I'm gay. I was gay since I was born. My mother didn't mind. My father is still adjusting to the fact that I don't like girls. At least there isn't any arguments. Dad loved me anyways.
Jason walked over to me and he introduced himself. I couldn't find any words to say out loud. His voice was beautiful. They sounded like angels.
"I'm E-Erick." I say and he chuckled. I guess he likes me if he's chuckling! That has to mean something. Right?
"Hey Erick. Do you have any friends? I'd like to be your friend. You seem like a pretty cool guy to hang around with." he said.
He wants to be friends with me? No one ever wanted to be friends with me besides the one that moved away. This was all new to me. I had no idea what to say. I never had someone willingly ask to be my friend before.
"S-sure." I say and I mentally slapped myself in the face. I can't make it that obvious! I never stuttered before. This is so embarrassing.
"That's cool. We can chill after school then. My mom would be thrilled that I made a new friend." he smiled. I swore I practically melted right there. His smile is the most amazing thing that I have ever seen in my life.
Back to the story. After school was over, i rode the bus with Jason. The bus drivers didn't really care who was on the bus. They just needed the money. "So, Jason, when did you move here?" I asked him.
"Over the summer. My dad got a job offer at Geico and Yeah. I'm still adjusting to this place." he said and I nodded. How come I never seen him around? We live in a small area. Someone would've mentioned it to me. Or my parents would. My dad works at Geico. He should've said something.
"Oh, that's cool. I lived here since I was just a little seed." I say and he laughed.
"Must be nice. This is our stop." he said and I followed him off the bus.
I followed him to the house with the blue door. I've heard about this place. This is the only house that has a colored door. Jason opened the door and set his backpack on the ground. "This is a nice place." I say looking around. It looks just like my house but there were boxes all around the house. I guess they're still unpacking.
