Finally Peace

Thyra's P.O.V

I woke up to light shining into my room. I squinted a little, trying to adjust to the light. Once I have, I get up to start my day. Last night, after our family reuinited, Rebekah tought me and Eria things of the 21st century. I walk to my bathroom, which is connected to my room. I take a shower, wash my hair. I pick out a white crop top that says 'Bite Me', red flannel, and navy blue skinny jeans. With black vans. I dry my hair with magic, and brushed it out. I put on mascara, black eyeliner, and strawberry chapstick, but made sure to brush my teeth first. Once I was finished I walk out, into the hallway. I hear music, so I follow it. I bump into Eria on my way. She was wearing something similar to me. Her hair and make up were the same as me, but she was wearing a lacy floral crop top, and black and white flannle. ''Morning sister.'' I greeted kissing her cheek. ''Morning Thyra.'' She smiled. ''Let's go see what the noise is about.'' I said. We both followed the music, and go into a room. All of siblings besides Niklaus are here preparing for the ball my mother planned. ''Morning brothers, Rebekah.'' Me and Eria said in union. They all said a hello. I walk towards Finn, while Eria walked towards Elijah. ''Hey Finn.'' I greeted with a smile. Finn and Niklaus were my favorites besides Eria. ''Hello Thyra.'' He greeted with a beaming smile. ''So, who are you taking to the ball this evening?'' I asked teasingly. Finn laughed. Rebekah, Kol, and Elijah seem surprised. I wonder why. ''No, I'm going dateless.'' He sigh. ''That's a shame. Knowing how handsome your going to be tonight, I'm sure you will catch the eye of one or two ladies.'' I said winking at him. ''Thank you Thyra.'' He said. ''Anytime.'' I said kissing his cheek. 

I went to sit on the floor, next to Rebekah's legs where she sat. ''Sister tell me how handsome I look.'' Kol said looking in the mirror. I giggled. Eria seems to be in a conversation with Elijah. ''Oh Kol, you know I can't be compelled.'' She said. I see Finn trying to hold in a laugh. ''Don't listen to our sister Kol, you look as handsome as ever.'' I said, trying to bother Rebekah. Rebekah just glared at me. ''Thank you Thyra.'' Kol said. ''Oh Thyra don't feed into the big ego our brother has.''Elijah said. ''You went after Elena! What is wrong with you?'' Niklaus asked angrily walking in. Who the hell is Elena? Is she a girl courted to Niklaus? ''Here we go.'' Rebekah sighed. ''Rebekah why did you harm a girl courted to Nik?'' Eria asked, clearly thinking the same thing. ''She not courted to Nik, she is the doppleganger.'' Kol said. Wait the doppleganger! That means Nik found the real way to make Hybrids. ''Do you want another dagger in your heart?'' He asked Rebekah. ''Again with the dagger threats? Don't you have anything else?'' Kol asked teasingly, turning to us. ''Go back to staring at yourself.''Nik said turning to him, then turning back. ''Who are you, my father?'' Kol asked. I flinched at the mention of the word father. Kol's face softened up when he saw, he send me an apologetic look before turning his face cold towards Nik. Nik seem to have enough, because he turned fully at Kol. ''No but your in my house.'' He said. ''Our house.'' I fake coughed. ''Then perhaps we should take this outside then?'' Kol asked getting in Nik's face. They were staring intensly. ''Enough. Niklaus, Thyra, Eria, come.'' She called for us. The three of us looked at each other confused. 

We followed her out to the dace room. ''Rebekah hasn't been out of her box a day, and she is already set on, on ruining my life. What happened to peace, acceptance, family?'' Nik asked, already getting into his whining ways. ''You put daggers in their hearts. It's different with the twins because it wasn't at force. You can't expect them to go down on their knees, and kiss at your feet for reuniting them. Now don't take this the wrong way girls. Niklaus, it's no secret that the twins are your favorite. But if you could just once not pick a fight with your siblings.'' She said. ''I don't understand. I killed you, yet you forgive me.'' Nik said in tears. Me and Eria go to each of his side and hug him. ''I've had a thousand years on the other side to be sad and angry. I want us to be a family again. Now my three little hybrids, put on that smile.'' She said smirking. Me, Eria, and Nik couldn't help ourselves in doing just that. ''Nik who are you taking to the ball as your date?'' Eria asked. ''Yes do tell.'' Mother smirked. ''No one. You three are even lucky that I'm going.'' He said putting an arm around me and Eria. ''Well that's a shame. I believe it's going to be an magical evening.'' Mother said kissing his cheek, and kissing my and my sister's forehead.
