"You haven't even put your other songs on CD yet."
ugh Sarah! SHUT UP!
"Other songs?" Grammy Phillips asks
"Yes I have... I just... haven't released it." I look away
i meant to do that
but im kinda nervous
"Lemme have it!" Grammy Phillips extends her hand to me
"Fine." I poof my CD on her hand. "It's me singing and my band playing."
"You have a band?"
"Mhmm. Evanescence." I smile proudly.
"AY! Me too. I'm the background singer." Sarah smiles.
"I see... Well, let's hear that song of yours deary."
"Oohkaaaay. Here goes." I rub my hands together again and take a deep breath. then look around and close my eyes. <Liiiiithiiiii ii ii uuhm.. don't wanna lock me uup insiide.. Liiiiiithiii IIuuh umm.. don't want to forget how it feels withoout.. Liiiiithiiii iiuumm.. I wanna stay iin loove with myy so orroow.. Oohh ohh oh ohh ooh ohhhh.. but god I wanna leet it goooooo>
i open my eyes again and look around
"AHH!! THAT WAS AWESOME!!" Mom starts clapping
"Weell my grand-daughtahh is an artist!" Grammy Phillips starts clapping
"Omg, I can see Evanescence playing this song.. It will be a hit." Sarah nods.
"Along with the other songs I have." I smile then mentally slap my head
it wasn't Sarah who spilled the beans this time
i look up at mom. "Along with the.. other?... Elizabeth Amy Lynn Stallone Phillips... what did you do."
"Nothing!! I did absolutely nothing." I shake my head
"She went to the future and saw the songs she made and wrote them down then came back to the present and wrote them down agaain so she wouldn't forget them." Sarah nods
aand the big mouth is back again
"UGHH!! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TOLD YOU ANYTHIING!!" I watch Sarah cover her mouth
"I swear i didn't want to saay that! It just... spilled out!"
"Thats because I put a spell on you when you were born to always tell the truth.. ELLIE! I said not to go to the future!"
"Wait, you put a spell on me??"
"That explains everything." I nod.
"Elliee."
"Ughh, whyy can't i go to the future."
"Cause you might mess something up without knoowing that you did."
