A Moonlit Walk - Yuka Suzuki x Reader

"Are you sure you don't want to join?" Lyon asked for the millionth time and you were very fed up with him.

"No! Lyon, I've said this 10 times by now, but no. I don't want to join Lamia Scale." You replied and Lyon sighed.

Being the infamous little sister of Lyon Vastia wasn't exactly the best thing in the world. In fact, you wanted to go out and see the world, but Lyon had played the role of way too overprotective older brother. You had to constantly stay by his side and he wouldn't let you do anything on your own. Then, Lyon got the great idea you could just join his guild, but he hadn't taken the time to think you could have said no.

"Why not? You're a great wizard and need to join a guild at some point." He reasoned as you two walked down the streets. It was about 9 in the evening and you desperately wanted to get back to your apartment for the night, but of course, Lyon wouldn't let you without agreeing to join his guild.

"Maybe I want to join Fairy Tail." You blurted out suddenly and Lyon was taken aback by that.

"No sister of mine is joining a guild with my rival as one of its members. . ." Lyon muttered under his breath. You reached a hand up to his cheek and managed to slap the Ice-Make mage. He glared at you then rubbed the spot on his cheek that was now turning red.

"Stop saying such rude things about Gray, he's like your brother after all." you snapped at him.

"What the hell would make you believe that?!" He asked and you face palmed.

"Lyon, you were both taught by the same master as children-" he cut you off.

"So?"

"You both have somewhat of a stripping habit. . ."

"That was one time!!"

"You both have your guild marks in the same place and in the same color."

"Th-that's just a coincidence!" He justified and you gave up. Shaking your head, you started to walk away from him.

"(y/n)! Please!" Lyon yelled as you stormed away. He may be your other brother, but he was so arrogant and inconsiderate at some points, especially when it came to his so called, 'rival', Gray Fullbuster.

Not being able to take your gaze away from the ground with tears threatening to show, naturally, you collided with someone. You ended up on the ground with a groan as the person gave you a glare.

"Watch it," he said simply, though he didn't sound very angry with you.

"I-I'm sorry. . .I-" you started, but the man put his hand up as a sign for stop.

"I don't need an explanation." He sighed and held a hand out for you to take. Hesitantly and blushing lightly, you took his hand and he helped you up. You look up at him, meeting his gaze and smile. He looked to be about the same age as you with spiky blue hair and startling dark eyes. He looked calm and collected and you guessed he was the type to not show emotion. Eventually, you realized you were staring and quickly return your gaze to the ground.

"Miss?" He asked to get your attention and you quickly give him a nervous smile.

"It's (y-y/n)," you stuttered and he smiled slightly.

"(y/n). . ." He repeated like he was testing out the word.

"Mhm. . ." You trailed off then realized you were still holding his hand from before and blush like crazy, pulling your hand away from his.
