The First Date - Laxus Dreyar x Reader, PT. 2

(A/N: Sorry it took so long, but Part 2! It may be absolute crap, honestly, but I wrote the bulk of it at about midnight last night and yeah. . . -.- plus, I cannot get italics to workkk so keep in mind, '(thought goes here)' unless it's just one word. Almost 2,000 words though which is a new record for me ^-^)

It had been about 1 month since the GMG's and the whole 'Dragons' incident with Future Rogue. The Guild Hall had been rebuilt and Makarov was reduced to tears. It was actually pretty fun to watch.

You and Laxus had kept your relationship status a secret for the time being seeing as all the chaos that Fairy Tail had endured was still fading. Though, it wasn't much of a secret that you had feelings for Laxus. Remember hugging him in front of all of Fiore at the GMG's? You swore the teasing would never come to a cease.

At the moment, you were seated in the guild hall with Team Natsu, enjoying a meal. Laxus was out on a mission and you kind of missed him, but wouldn't admit it in a thousand years.

"(y/n)?" The Fire Dragon Slayer asked through a mouth full of food.

"Yeah?" You had kinda spaced out and apparently Natsu was the only one to notice.

"You just seemed a little. . .out of it, I guess," he replied then continued to eat in the most animalistic manner you had even seen.

"You're missing Laxus, aren't you?" Lucy asked and your face began to heat up.

"W-what? N-no." You replied, though it was nowhere near convincing.

"You stuttered!" The blonde pointed out and you glared at her with a pink face.

"I'm just. . .tired," you decided and everyone nodded.

"Are you sure you're okay, (y/n)-San?" Wendy asked and you nodded, elbow on the table and cheek in your palm. "Your face is pretty red."

"I'm fine, Wendy," you assured the young Sky Dragon Slayer.

"Y'know," Gray started. "Laxus went on an S-Class mission. It could be a little while before he gets back."

Erza quickly slapped the Ice-Make Mage before apologizing repeatedly. "Don't worry, (y/n). Gray just. . .has a habit of making things worse than they seem."

"Just like his other habit?" Natsu snickered and Gray gave him a nasty glare.

"You wanna go, Flame-Breath?"

"Why not, Stripper?"

"Pyro!"

"Ice Princess!"

"Hot-Head!"

"Frosty!"

"S-"

"BOTH OF YOU!" Erza yelled at the bickering wizards, making them quickly hush and turn to the scarlet-haired knight. "STOP YOUR BICKERING AT ONCE!!"

"H-he's right, though. . ." You spoke up as the scarlet gave you a puzzled look. "Laxus may not be back for a while. . ." You tried your best not to sound totally desperate and heartbroken, but it was difficult. You two hadn't even officially started 'dating' yet and here you are, being the overdramatic girlfriend you never dreamt you'd be.

"Don't worry about it. . ." A new, gentle voice reassured you as you felt someone put their hand on your shoulder.

"Leo. . ." You growled as the Celestial Spirit quickly yanked his hand away.

"Jeez, I was only tryin' to help," the Lion Zodiac pouted before dissipating into orange mist.

"Can't you control when he opens his gate?" You ask the blonde, Celestial Mage, cursing the orange-haired playboy under your breath.
