A Rellamy Story

Chapter 8

Bellamy and Clarke get back to the camp. Bellamy walks away from Clarke and sits in his room. He starts thinking about Raven and he can't help but to feel like he's betraying her by his feelings for Clarke. He lays down and closes his eyes.

Two Weeks Later

Bellamy and Clarke decided to try out a relationship, which Octavia is not too happy about but she's supporting him. Finn isn't too happy about it either because he has strong feelings for Clarke. Octavia met a grounder named Lincoln so she's been trying to keep busy with him instead of worrying about her brother's love life. Octavia looks at Lincoln and bites her lip. "Do you think the grounders are going to attack soon?" Lincoln shrugs his shoulder. "I don't know but since I've been spending time with you they haven't been telling me anything." Octavia looks down. "Oh." Lincoln turns towards Octavia and lifts her chin up with his fingers. "I don't regret being with you, Octavia, so don't feel guilty. Ok?" Octavia smiles at him and nods her head. "Ok."

Raven just finished working on the drop ship so now it's ready to go down to Earth. Abby walks in. "You're done?" Raven smiles and says, excitedly, "Yep! When can I go down?!" Abby laughs at Raven's enthusiasm. "Is tonight good?" Raven nods her head. "Yes! I can definitely go now." Abby smiles and hugs her. "Be careful, please. And if my daughter is alive, please tell her that I love her." Raven pulls away and smiles at her. "I will, I promise." Abby lets Raven get ready for take off. Raven gets dressed in a spacesuit and jumps into the drop ship. Abby asks, "Ready?!" Raven gives Abby a thumbs up. Abby smiles as she opens the door for Raven to fly through. Raven is controlling the drop ship. It's falling, and falling fast. She can't get control of it and she ends up crashing onto Earth. She passes out.

The delinquents are all outside, talking, when they see something falling from the sky. Bellamy has his arm around Clarke and Clarke looks up at him. She asks, "What do you think that was?" Bellamy replies, "I don't know. Maybe food from the Ark for us?" Clarke shrugs her shoulder and then leans her head on Bellamy's shoulder.

The Next Day

Clarke asks everyone, "Who wants to come with me to find out what that thing was last night?!" Bellamy immediately says, "I'm coming!" He looks at Octavia. "O?" Octavia nods her head. "Yeah, I'll come. Can Lincoln come to?" Bellamy says, "Ok." Finn decides to tag along with them, as well as Jasper, Monty, and Wells. They take awhile to finally get to what fell from the sky. Clarke is the first one to go up to the ship and look inside. She gasps and opens the door. "Oh my god." She screams to the others, "It's a person! Somebody help!" Octavia immediately thinks of who it could be. She goes up to help. "Oh my god, Raven? Raven, come on, wake up. Please." Clarke checks for a pulse and says to Octavia, "She's alive. She's just unconscious." Octavia breathes a sigh of relief. "Ok." Clarke says, "Go tell the others what we found. I'll try to help her. My mom's a doctor so I know a few things." Octavia hesitates because she doesn't want to leave Raven but then she nods her head and walks back to the others. Bellamy asks, "So? What did you find? I heard Clarke say it was a person." Octavia nods her head and bites her lip. "Mhm." Bellamy waits for her to continue but she doesn't. He becomes impatient. "What are you not telling me, O?" Octavia sighs. "Don't flip out, ok?" Bellamy is confused. "Just tell me." Octavia says, "It's Raven." Bellamy exclaims, "What?!" He storms over to the ship and gently pushes Clarke out of the way. He gets tears in his eyes when he sees the state that Raven is in. "Raven?" He touches her head and kisses her forehead. "Babe? Raven, please wake up." Raven opens her eyes in confusion. "What happened? Where am I?" Bellamy laughs in relief. "You're on Earth. How are you here right now?" Raven tries to sit up but she can't. "Abby Griffin. She asked me if I would be willing to come down here to see if anyone is still alive. Wait... They told me you were dead." She starts crying and Bellamy hugs her. "It's ok, Raven. We all just took our bracelets off. We're all fine though." Raven tries to calm down. "Ok. Where's Octavia?" Octavia hears her name and walks up to them. "Hey, Raven." Raven smiles. "Hey. You keep this one out of trouble?" Octavia laughs. "I tried to, at least." Raven nods her head. Bellamy finally gets the seat belt off of Raven and helps her get out. Raven almost falls out but Bellamy catches her. She spins in a circle and breathes in the fresh air. "It's so beautiful out here." Bellamy laughs. "Yeah." Clarke watches the way Bellamy is with Raven. She gets jealous and Octavia notices this. She walks over to Clarke. "That's Raven. The love of Bellamy's life." Clarke asks, "So, that's the Raven you told me about?" Octavia smiles and nods her head. "Yeah. She's my best friend. The best friend you could ever ask for." Clarke looks down. "Oh, ok." Octavia sighs. "I will always want Raven and Bellamy together but if you two work out that will be ok too. I just don't want to see her get hurt by all of this. She's the last person who deserves pain in her life." Clarke nods her head. "I know. Thank you for talking to me about this." Octavia smiles. "No problem. I would hate to see you get hurt too." Bellamy looks over at Clarke and feels guilt. Raven notices the frown on his face. "You ok?" Bellamy looks up and fakes a smile. "Yes, why wouldn't I be? You're here." Raven smiles and jumps into his arms. "Oh, I've missed you!" Bellamy laughs. "I missed you too."
