A Rellamy Story

Chapter 6

Bellamy gathers everyone together later that day. He notices the bracelets on everyone's wrists. "Ok, we're all going to have to help out with hunting for food and with building shelter! But first..." Octavia asks, "What's going on Bell?" Bellamy smirks. "We have to take off these bracelets." Clarke steps up. "What?! But these bracelets are the only things that are letting everyone up in the Ark know that we're still alive!" Bellamy exclaims, "That's the point! Let them keep wondering!" Octavia says, "But..." She hesitates when Bellamy looks at her. "But, what about Raven? This will kill her Bellamy." Bellamy sighs. "I'll figure out a way to let her know we're still alive." Octavia smiles and nods her head. "Ok." Bellamy asks, "So?! Who's going to help take off my bracelet?!" Murphy steps up to him. "I will." Bellamy nods his head and gives him a sharp object to take the bracelet off with. Murphy carefully, hits the bracelet with the tool and it comes off. Bellamy smiles and asks, "Who's next?!"

Abby gets upset when she notices how everyone is dying down on Earth. She's worried about her daughter, Clarke. Sinclair sees that Bellamy is dead and goes to see Raven, not knowing how to tell her this news. He sees her working on a drop ship. "Raven?" Raven looks up and smiles. "Hey, Sinclair!" She notices the look on his face. "What's wrong?" Sinclair sighs. "I don't know how to tell you this, but..." Raven gets nervous. "But... What?" Sinclair says, "Bellamy is dead." Raven looks at him and then starts hyperventilating. "What? But... How...?" Sinclair replies, "I don't know how but he is." Raven looks away. "Can you please go? I want to be alone right now." Sinclair nods his head and leaves. Raven sits down and cries.

Clarke, Finn, Octavia, Jasper, and Monty are all hunting for food when Octavia decides to go for a swim. When she goes into the water, Finn notices some kind of animal in there with her. He yells for her, "Octavia! Get out of there now!" Octavia screams as she's attacked. Jasper jumps in and immediately grabs her. She smiles as she catches her breath. "Thanks." Jasper smiles. "You're welcome." Clarke says, "We should continue." Finn and Monty follow her as Octavia and Jasper stand up to follow them as well.

The group gets back to the others, just to notice that Bellamy and Murphy are cutting off everyone's bracelets for food. Clarke says, disgustedly, "They're giving up their bracelets for food?! I am not doing that!" Finn smirks. "You don't have to." He goes up to them and takes some meat for him and Clarke. Octavia walks up to Bellamy and pulls him away. "Please tell me you have a plan on how to tell Raven that we're not dead." Bellamy shakes his head. "Not yet." Octavia sighs, angrily, "You need to figure it out, Bellamy! Raven probably already thinks that you're dead! Now, I'm not taking this thing off until you find a way! She doesn't need to think the only family she knows is dead!" Bellamy nods his head. "Ok, O. You can still eat. I'm not going to starve my only sister." Octavia says, sarcastically, "Thanks." Bellamy walks away and heads over to Finn and Clarke. "You know you're going to take those things off eventually, right?" Clarke shakes her head. "No. That is never going to happen." Bellamy smirks. "Whatever you say, Princess."
