I kicked and thrashed as hard as I could, hoping that one of them would lose their grip. It didn't work. I panicked as they dragged me closer and closer to the orb-like craft that would banish me from my home. "Huwezi kufanya hili kwangu!"
(Translation: "You can't do this to me!")
I screamed at the two men. They said nothing and continued to throw me into my prison. Quickly, they slammed the door behind me. I stood and ran to it, banging on it like my life depended on it. Which it did.
"huwezi kufanya hili kwangu!" I sobbed as I slid down the door unto my knees. "tafadhali" (please) I begged barely above a whisper. A loud clanking noise could be heard beneath me as the craft prepared for take off. I was being banished. Banished because I was dangerous. I couldn't blame my people, they were right. I'm unstable.
After one last click, the craft launched; hurling me into the dark void ahead. I gripped onto some handles that was near a window. Through it, I watched as I left my home planet behind. I took a step back and concentrated on a random spot in the craft hoping I could turn it around. But I couldn't, I was too drained. I collapsed onto the floor in defeat. Tears escaped my eyes and floated into the air. "Huwezi kufanya hili kwangu" I whispered one last time before closing my eyes.
I floated through darkness for days, maybe years. I couldn't tell. Sadness dwelled in my hearts. Loneliness was the only thing on my mind on my trip to nowhere. I mainly spent my time levitating by the window, there are no chairs in here.
My powers are becoming stronger, I can't stay in this tiny space much longer. A planet is what I need, but I haven't seen a single one. Not that I can control this damned thing anyway. It drains too much of my energy, I'd pass out. And who knows if I'd ever wake up.
I pushed myself away from the window, refusing to look through it much longer. There's nothing to see anyway. I folded my arms and gently let myself down on the cold floor. Just as I did so, the craft shook. I assumed it was nothing and closed my eyes. But then the craft began to shake more violently than before; and I could feel the temperature rising beneath me.
The craft was spinning fast. Panic set in as I lifted myself to the window. Instead of the usual darkness, I could see the orange glare of fire and a blue blur. Dizziness set in quickly, I could feel the little bit of food in my stomach rising up.
In the blink of an eye, a loud explosion could be heard. I was thrown harshly against the wall behind me. Everything slowly faded to darkness. I passed out.
My eyes flew open revealing the destruction of the craft around me. I floated up to the window, which was smashed. Wind howled through it and there was....tall brown things with green stuff at the top of them.
After long periods of hesitation, I finally pulled my self out of the window. Slowly but surely I placed one foot down on to the ground beneath me. It was....soft and the same green stuff grew from it. Surprisingly the air was easy to breath in, however, I could feel it swirling inside me as if it was poison.
Out of luck, I landed on a planet. Question is, am I alone here? Can I survive?I walked up to one of the brown.....things. It was massive, amazing, majestic. I placed a hand on it, feeling it's texture, it was rough unlike the green beneath me.
"M-ma'am?"
My head snapped in the direction of that....noise. I looked, before me was a man. He had stringy hair that was tied back into a ponytail. It was... yellow. I've never seen that before. His eyes were a sharp blue and his skin was pinkish. I've never seem a creature such as him. It was strange but...beautiful in its own way.
"Ma'am are...what are you?"
He made that....that sound again. I could tell he was trying to communicate, but I couldn't understand. What was he saying? I slowly walked toward him, unsure if he was violent or not.
"Kuwa shwari kiumbe, nina amani," I spoke softly, holding my hands up.
("Be calm creature, I'm at peace.")
"What?" He backed up. Drawing some kind of metal object from his clothing.
I stood still, unsure what he would do. If only I could understand him. Maybe if I give him my thoughts, maybe then he'll understand. I closed my eyes and concentrated on communicating to him. Once the feeling that I was connected was there, I began to project my thoughts unto him.
He began to screech causing my eyes to fly open. Gripping his head tightly, he bent over and collapsed onto the ground.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD! GET OUT OF MY HEAD! LEAVE ME ALONE!" He continued to yell in his native tongue.
I backed up, not knowing where I went wrong. I felt a liquid drop on my upper lip. I touched it and looked down at my fingertips. They were red. Blood. A frown slowly set on my face. Did I...cause myself to bleed? Was I hurt?
I looked back at the man on the floor, he was slowly rising up. His eyes met mine, his gaze casting me into a trance. I stretched out my hand towards him, but stopped abruptly as a bright light was cast down on me.
The green things began to shake as a huge contraption hovered above me. It produce a great deal of wind, which slightly distorted my vision.
"This is the United States Military! Get On the ground with your hands up now!" The contraption said in a loud voice.
Out of fear, I ran. But the strange beast followed after me. It shot at me, releasing metal from a hole in its side. I ran as fast as I could, ducking and weaving between the tall brown beings.Something struck me in my shoulder with a great force. I fell on the ground, paralyzed by both fear and extreme pain. Gripping my arm, I lay there rolling back and forth and crying out.
The beast landed a few yards away from me. From out of it streamed a line of men. All had on gear and a metal contraption... I wonder what it does. Some of the men had brown skin like me and if it weren't for the tongue they spoke, I would mistake them as one of my own. I tried desperately to float away from them, but I could only go a few feet before slamming back into the ground. Too drained to fight, I allowed them to gather me up and bring me inside of the beast which they came out. I let them abduct me.
So this is my first time writing this kind of content. What y'all think of it so far???
