After the men brought me into the flying beast, they strapped me down to a seat. I peered around realizing this....thing wasn't alive. It was almost like the hovercrafts at home. Maybe these men are my people, just a different species. Especially the ones with the pinkish skin; they absolutely are a different species. I wanted badly to touch one, I wonder if they feel different.A man came and sat in front of me. He had on a black cloth with a white cloth underneath. He looked very strange in it, at least he looked strange to me. In his hands he held some kind of case. He opened it and pulled a thin white sheet out and a writing utensil.
"I'm going to ask you some questions." He said.
I wondered if they knew I couldn't understand them. The pain in my shoulder grew worse. Turning my attention away from him, I focused on it. Using my brainwaves to force the skin to heal. It stung a little, but eventually every last cell was restored and the pain ceased.
The man let out a low grunt, almost as if he was amused. I pulled on the restraints, they were too tight. "kusaidia," (help) I begged as I continued to pull.
A frown set upon his face, "I can't understand you."
"Kusaidia!" I shouted. The language barrier was beginning to enrage me. My mind is too unstable to be this upset. All the power that is stored there might be released. It would kill these men, maybe even myself.
I tried taking in deep breaths to calm down, but it wouldn't work. My eyes began to glow, filling the inside of this contraption with a golden light. The man's eyes filled with fear, I could hear his heart race increase. I directed all my energy to the clamps that were around my neck, hands, and feet.
They burst open and off the chair, throwing shrapnel at the man; some of which pierced his skin. I stood up and walked towards the man, grabbing his head. Forcefully, I directed a great deal of my energy into him, causing his heart to exploded within him. His eyes rolled back into his head and he fell out of the chair unto the floor.I didn't mean to kill him, it was out of anger. Controlling myself wasn't an option. The glow in my eyes ceased but pain started up in them. I felt liquid stream out of my ears, my nose, my eyes, and a little from my mouth. After wiping at it, I realized it was my blood. I was bleeding......again. What was causing this? Is it the air?
"HEY!"
I turned around, one of the men in gear stood there aiming his....strange object....at me.
"How did you get up?!" He shouted.
I didn't move, maybe if I stayed still he'd see I mean no harm. His eyes shifted off me and onto the man I just killed. He gulped and returned his gaze to me.
"You did that?"
I could tell he was asking a question, perhaps it was to ask me why I killed him. The answer would be that I don't know. Honestly I didn't mean to.
A loud sound came from behind me, followed by a stinging sensation in my neck. I touched the spot, revealing a needle in my skin.
Upon yanking it out, my vision blurred and the place began to spin. It was almost like I was back in the orb, free falling down to this planet. I felt myself collapse, but I didn't feel the impact. It was then I realized what happened. They drugged me.
The world faded to black and the last thing I saw, was a man's face, his sharp eyes peering into mine."Is it alive?"
"Yes sir."
"Where did you find it?"
"It's a her sir and we found her in the Yellowstone National Park. Her ship crashed."
I opened my eyes, checking to see who was talking. Two men stood on the other side of some glass. Both were wearing the same black and white cloth as the man in the hovercraft. I tapped on the glass, trying to get their attention. It seemed that I was in some sort of tube filled with a clear liquid. There were all sorts of strings attached to my body. I began to pull at them, trying my best to rip them off.
"Ah she's awake." One of the men exclaimed.
I turned my attention to him, studying his features. He also had pinkish skin. The planet must be filled with men like that. Strange. He placed his hand on the glass. I hesitated before doing the same, placing my right hand where his was. Immediately I felt a connection between our brains.
"basi mimi kwenda" (let me go) I thought before sending it to him. He winced and blood began to trickle out his nose. Wiping at it, he turned to look at the other man.
"She has a telepathic mind?"
"Yes sir, she might have more than that, but as for right now..... that's all we know about her. Uh...what did she say to you?"
"I don't know it was in her language, but it was like.....her voice was inside my head. Almost like I imagined it, but I know I didn't."
I listened to their conversation, wondering what meanings were behind the words they said. Eventually I became bored of them and more interested in getting out of this thing. I finished pulling the strings off me and pressed my hand against the glass. Gold light began to glow as the glass cracked, seeping into the room which the men stood. They turned their attention to me, watching in astonishment.
"What is she doing? Has she ever done that before?"
"No sir....not that I know of."
I sent a little boost of energy through my veins to my hand. Light could be seen under my skin as the energy ball traveled. That was new. With that little burst, the glass shattered spilling the clear liquid all over the floor. I carefully stepped out, avoiding the little pieces of glass on the floor.
A loud alarm sounded and the room filled with a red light. I gripped onto my ears, the sound unbearable. Blood began to spill out of my ears and even more so out of my eyes.
I screamed, as blood puddled around me, dripping down my arms. Immediately the alarm stopped and there was a gaping hole in the wall through which I could see many faces peering at me. All were frozen by fear.
Upon realizing that I did that, I looked down at my hands not sure what to expect. Now even my screams cause destruction.
More men in gear filled the room. "DON'T MOVE!" One yelled.
I concentrated on him, lifting him off his feet and into the air. With just one small flick of my wrist, he flew across the room smashing into the concrete wall. Instead of just hitting it, he went through it, in fact he went through several walls. I felt his connection to me go mute. He was dead.
With my other hand I froze all of the other men. Holding them in place with an immense amount of force. I could feel myself draining. Getting out of here was a must.
I stood up and ran through the hole in the wall, running down several hallways. Along the way I ran into more men, all of which I froze. It was becoming fun, but my energy drained immensely with each man I held in place.
After what seemed like ages of running, I found a door. I cloaked myself so that I couldn't be seen by the naked eye. This was also new. A smile formed on my face as I walked out of the door into the open. Pass people who wouldn't know I was there even if I waved.
While all this was amazing, blood still streamed out of my eyes and ears, even a little from my nose. I was began to realize it was because of use of powers on this planet. Something in it's atmosphere was interfering with my abilities causing my body to react in a negative way. It'll take some getting use to.
But for now, I need to worry about staying out of sight........
