Anya had been living in Brooklyn, New York for a couple days now under the disguise of the brown-haired Sansa Shanina and she was just getting used to the feel of the city. All the sidewalks, all the lights, all the many sights and dangers of the big city was being taken in by Anya as she tried to get a feel for her new home. Sure, it was a little noisy and crowded from time to time, what with people walking in penguin huddles down the street and taxis at every corner, all of which Anya wasn't used to due to the fact that she used to live alone in a cottage within walking distance of a small and quiet snowy town near Siberia. However, the redhead soon learned to adjust to her new surroundings after she grew accustomed to directions around the city and even went to the library that was a few blocks near her apartment complex so she could brush up on her history and on the modern world. At the library, she even spoke with the head librarian and through her conversations, the old-fashioned dame learned how to use a computer after going through life for over seventy years without ever touching one. Despite all the wonderful sights and experiences she learned in the city, Anya still had to apply for a job to get money unless she wanted her current stash to run out from just sitting around and doing nothing.

Looking around for work close to her apartment complex to save walking distance and money, Anya noticed a typed piece of paper hanging on the window outside a small shop as she walked past it on her way home from another day at the library. Scanning her blue eyes across the note, Anya comprehended the full scale of the message as the paper read as such:

'NY Creamery and Bakes needs both pastry chefs and cashiers in the shop. Will now hire anyone who is willing to work. Physical job application forms are inside the shop at the cashier's counter or forms are available online at www.nycreamery&bakes.com.'

Pondering more about what she was seeing on the paper and realizing that a simple job as a baker would be good for her due to the fact that it was a skill she had, Anya decided to go inside the small shop as the hanging bell on the door rang against the glass. Seeing the whole place buzzing with several people buying many different kinds of scratch-made desserts, coffee, milkshakes, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh fruit smoothies, Anya felt peaceful and cozy as a heavenly scent permeated the shop. Seeing a couple bakers in the back taking fresh cupcakes out of the oven through a small window, Anya nodded and was determined to apply for a job at the bakery as she went to the front counter and waited for the customer to finish placing his order for a vanilla latte and banana nut muffin before he had to rush to his accountant job. Once the man exited the space in front of the counter to take a seat by the window, Anya made her way to the counter as she was met face-to-face with a young woman with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. Wearing a pink T-shirt with the company's logo printed on the front of the cloth while sitting over top of black pants and black tennis shoes and having an ever-present smile on her face, the cashier was warm and bubbly as she greeted Anya kindly, "Good morning, Miss. How are you?"

"I'm good; thanks for asking. And you?" Anya asked as she smiled back before the woman grinned, "I'm good and thank you for asking. My name's Denae and I'll be serving you today. Welcome to NY Creamery and Bakes. You take your time ordering and if you have any questions about the shop or the menu items, feel free to let me know. And if you have any allergies to any food ingredients, just let me know and we'll find a menu item suitable for you."

"That's so kind of you, Miss, but I'm just looking for a job application if you please." Anya replied as Denae nodded before she replied, "Oh, yeah, sure. One moment, hon." Going close to the phone by the wall that was near the kitchen door, Denae pulled out a job application form from a wooden paper box on the wall before she handed one to Anya and smiled again, "One job application form for you, hon. Anything else you may need?"

"Umm...No thank you. Just the job application form. But I do have a question. Will there be a job interview soon?" Anya asked as Denae nodded, "Oh, yes. Once you give us the form back with your address and a valid phone number, we'll keep in contact with you and let you know when the interview is."
