Soccer

"Hey Max", I smile sitting next to him

"Hey Alicia", he grins

"Did you tryout for soccer?", he asks

"Yes, and I made the team", I answer

He high fives me

"Are you on a team?", I ask

"Yeah, for the premier development-league" he answers

"Cool, what position", I ask

"Midfielder",he answers

"What about you?", he asks

"Left fullback", I answer  

" alright class quiet down", our new teacher says

"Today we're learning about the civil war", he says

"I've picked your partners for the assignment for next week", he says

"I'll tell you now so you can prepare"

"Layla and Kayla"

"Amanda and Sawyer"

"Alicia and Max"

We both smile at each other

"And the rest of you can pick", he states

The rest of the day was about what we're doing for the next couple weeks and at the end of the day I went to soccer practice and Max was there.

"Oh hey max, what are you doing here?", I ask

"I wanted to watch you practice", he smiles

"Ok"

"I also wanted to ask you if you wanted to practice with me this weekend?", he asks

"Definitely", I smile

After practice he walked me home

"So here's my address", he says handing me a piece of paper

"I'll be there, thanks for walking me home", I smile

"No problem, see you later Alicia", he waves

"Bye Max", I wave
