High school lovers

Movie night

"What why?" ,I ask
"Because I know how upset you were, and you're my best friends Alicia, no one can replace you", he smiles
"Oh Max", I say hugging him
After we pull apart we stare at each other awkwardly
"So, I guess we should get to work", he says
"Yeah, right"
After about 2 hours we finish with our project
"So what do you want to do now?", he asks
"I don't know"
"Wanna watch a movie?", he asks
"Sure", I say happily
"Wanna watch Harry Potter?", he asks
"Of course I do!", I reply back
Harry Potter isn't a very romantic movie but Max sure made it seem like it, every once in a while he would put his hand near my hand  so I  finally collided our fingers together.
Ever so often he would rug his fingers against my knuckles making the butterflies in my stomach turn into wasps. Once the movie ended he started a new one since my mom said I could stay for three more hours.
This time he put in The Notebook. Once the kissing scene started he glanced at me and i glanced back.
"Alicia?"
"Yes"
"Can I kiss you"
"Yes"
He leaned in and we kissed for about 30 seconds and then he grabbed my hand again and we went back to watching the movie.
