High school lovers

Why love?

"Hey max," I say sitting next to him in tech Ed

"Oh hey Alicia", he says while reading his book

"So I heard you are  dating Ava", I say

"Um, yeah since last night", he answers still not looking at me

"Why are you being so rude? This isn't the Max I know", I spit out

"What are you talking about?", he asks finally looking up at me

"Just because I wouldn't kiss you doesn't mean you can be a jerk about it", I say as the teacher walks in

"Alicia what are you talking about? Yes I wanted you to kiss me, but I needed to cool off so I went on the date with Ava. And she's really nice ", he whispers

Why would you do that to me?I try to say but the teacher enter-ups

"Afternoon class, today we will be constructing our own news paper articles on the school website"

I roll my eyes, we've done this three years in a row

" I know I've done this in the previous years ,but this time you are having partners and I changed the subject . Also I have chose your partners", she smiles

" I will be assigning you Greek gods this year  , Ricky and Maidra Zeus (the god of the sky) Ryan and Skye have Poseidon (God of the Sea ), Lindsay and Nate have Hades (king of Underworld), Ava and Justin have Ares (the god of war) savvy and Haden have Apollo (god of music),and Abby and max have Eros (the God of love)."
