[A/N: I actually made this for a one shot writing contest. After the contest, I thought of making it into a short story, but decided otherwise. I think it's best if this stays as a one shot. I hope you'll (somehow) enjoy this story.]

Am I dreaming?
I closed my eyes and opened them, hoping that what I'm seeing right now is only my imagination. But I was wrong.
"I'm real," he said.
My eyes widened in surprise. What the hell?!
I grabbed the thing nearest to me and pointed it to him. Fortunately, I grabbed a ruler. "Don't you dare come closer," I warned.
"Whoa, easy there," he said and easily flew away from the ruler.
"What are you?" I asked.
"Can't you tell?" He asked and turned around for me to see his whole being.
"A talking fly."
He rolled his eyes and clapped his hands. "Thank you for that wonderful display of intelligence."
I glared at him. "Don't go sarcastic on me right now or else..."
"Or else what? Hit me with a ruler?" He laughed. "La grande."
A bright light suddenly emerged and engulfed my room. I closed my eyes and cursed in my head. What is happening?!
"Hello, I'm Warren. Enchanté, Jennifer," he greeted me, after the light vanished, and bowed down as if he was a gentleman.
I stared at his new form - a human. And next thing I knew, darkness consumed me.

6:03 AM
I woke up to the sound of someone's breathing. I snuggled closer to the pillow beside me while I let my eyes adjust to the light.
It's morning.
I looked around the room and, lastly, to the pillow I'm hugging. My eyes widened and my breathing hitched.
I counted to five before releasing a shriek. "Get off me!" I yelled and pushed him off the bed.
Yes, him.
A guy.
Whose identity I don't know.
Whose body I was hugging a while ago.
He groaned in pain. "Good morning to you, too."
I racked my brain for memories of last night. I just finished the last batch of cookies I was baking. I was putting the cookies in a container when I saw something fly over them. I thought it was a bug and swatted it, but it felt different. It sounded different.
Looking closely, I saw a miniature person... with wings!
I stared at the guy on the floor. It was the fly!
"Who are you? What are you?!" I asked and gripped the bed cover. "What happened last night? After I lost consciousness?"
I studied him while waiting for his answer. His features showed - brownish hair, fair skin, long nose, chiseled face, and most of all, green eyes.
