Chapter 1: He Blew It

It was Candy's 16th show with a theater group called KYT. She had meet new people such as Rainbow (She had an odd name), Scorpio, Jacky, Darren, and.............Mike.

Although he was 2 years younger than her, she still had strong feelings for him. He was the hottest 15-year-old ever. His ginger hair shined in the light as he sashayed down to rehearsals. All that had caused them to meet was Harry Potter. Her friend, Jacky, had already known Scorpio with their undying friendship. Or was it more than that? She would have to decide later. Mike has green eyes. Sorry off topic.... So distracting.... She didn't even like him until Rainbow suggested it. For that she hated her.

"Hey, Candy. What's up?" Candy was jarred back to reality with his voice filling her head.

"Oh hey, Mike. Not much, how are you doing?" Inwardly cursing herself for jumping, she smiled at him.

"Fine." Jealousy pierced her heart when he turned away to talk to Violet. She was her biggest competition, as she was actually his age. Fuming she walked away to Rainbow and Jacky. Rainbow was, unsurprisingly, carrying Jacky. Jacky had a small personal bubble. With her looks it sometimes got her in trouble.

"Ok, we could literally fry an egg on your head right now. Violet problems?" Rainbow asked setting Jacky down.

'Yes!' Candy wanted to scream. But she couldn't. She couldn't admit how much she liked him.

"Nah," She lied. "Just, uh, stubbed my toe."

"Sure you did..." Jacky said giving her a look.

"Shut up."

"You know we're always by your side-..." Rainbow was suddenly distracted by John, the boy she obviously loved.

"Again? Really?" Jacky said. 'You're one to talk with you running after Scorpio all the time.' She thought laughing to herself.

"Girl I don't like Scorpio!" Jacky said.

"Sure you don't." Candy smirked.

"Shut up."

"But like seriously though, I don't like him, I swear." Candy said trying to hide her obvious smile. Rainbow ran back and smiled, but at the look on Jacky's face, she came back to reality and smirked. As Candy realized both Jacky and Rainbow were going to gang up on her about Mike, she frowned.

"Huh, I don't like him!" She practically screamed the words.

"How'd you know what we were talking about. Hmmm? Have something to reveal?" Jacky said, less than an inch away from her face.

"Candy, just admit it to yourself, you'll feel better."

"FINE!! I like him. I really really like him. I like him, I swear."

"What?!" Mike's voice filled the air and they all turned to look at his innocent face.

"I... I.... -" Candy ran not knowing what else to do.

"The ship has sunk." Rainbow muttered.

"WHO IS IT?! WHO DOES SHE LIKE?!" Mike slammed Rainbow into a wall with frustration, furious with the thought of another boy in her life at all. Except maybe Scorpio. As a friend.

"Did someone say Scorpio?"

"No, Scorpio."

"Whatever. I see you're using the slam wall technique I tought you. Very nice. Jacky, expect a sore back later...."

"WHAT?!" Jacky yelled.

"Oh ya baby!"

"Rainbow? Will she always be running away? Because.... I love her." Mike said, releasing Rainbow with a sudden pain of heart.

"You what?" Scorpio stuttered.

"I...can't." Mike said turning on his heel and running in the same direction as Candy. He blew it.
